We are taking our FIRST cruise ever, on the Feb 1 Wonder.

We are taking our Kids (2 girls, 8 and 4.... and one boy who is 6) and would like to get them some friends to meet there.. especially if we can find a friend for the 4 year old to meet so she will have someone to play with onboard at the clubs, etc.

Are there any kids their ages on this cruise?

but with out kids!
We have late seating...is anyone setting up a meet?

we have a girl 9 and a boy 6.this is our 5th cruise.
what we did when our son was 4 was at sign up in the afternoon we stayed with them for a little while while he played.and then the first night when we dropped him off it was about an hour of free time and they put in a movie on the big screen and pulled out the mats for the kids to sit or lay on.the cm are great that work there and they take them under there wing until the shyness goes away.4 times on and only been beeped once because my dd was bored when she was 7 i think in the afternoon.

Do you want to get the boys together so they can have a playmate?

We're travelling on that date with my son, aged 4.5, and daughter, aged 2. This will be our first DCL cruise, and we're really looking forward to it!

bill i sent you ab e mail on the boards about getting kids together.

We are also taking our first cruise ever. 3 children, 6 year old girl and 4 year old boy/girl twins.
How is the packing going? Have you booked any excursions? Do you plan on your children participating in the kids program? Where is your stateroom?

We do plan to have our son participate in the programs, since he's the right age. Our daughter, however, will only be eligible for Flounder's Club, which should be fine, too.

Our stateroom is in the 2100 block .... I booked last-minute, so I'm eagerly awaiting the documents to arrive...... in the snowstorm. <heh, heh>

I meant to add to my last post -- no actual packing yet, only in my mind. (swimsuits....check. sunblock.....check) :-)

And no shore excursions booked yet, either. Still wading through all the options.

You?

We had booked the Blue Lagoon Beach Day...the dolphin encounter was full. But we have since cancelled, reason being a 15 minute walk to the ferry and a 40 minute ferry ride. Too much with 3 little ones for just a beach day. The same sun will be on the ship with a pool. Anyway I heard the ship will be less crowded. If we change our minds again, we will re-book once we board. As far as packing...pretty casual, but plan on taking one nice dress in case we book at Palo. That will depend on the kids. I'm getting very excited. It's freezing cold in NJ and a big snow storm is in the forecast.
