fear of flying

My DW used to take prescriptipn drugs before flying, usually starting the day before the flight. Then she would load a few alcoholic nips into her carryon. Finally she would sit away from me and my DS and DD with her Bose head phones cranked up loud ! Every time there was a little turbulence, she'd have a nip out and empty !! Worked fine (although I don't reccommend prescription drugs and alcohol !) until our trip to St. Barths a few years ago. We flew to St. Croix, then took a 22 seater for a 7 minute flight to St. Barths. Unfortunately, the flight after us to St. Barths crashed on the island, and there were no survivors. So she won't fly !! We did solve the problem to WDW, thou. In Aug., she and my DD are taking the train from Boston, while my DS and I will be flying out 2 days later !! I do foresee problems getting back to St. Barths, though !!
