FEA, Soarin' and TT in the same morning

I heard a rumor that Mexico & Norway are going to open at 9:00.
Same here. Though as with all things, until it happens who knows. I never bet but if I did I'd bet they will open at 9:00

I think I like the idea of RP Soarin, FP+ FEA and then doing single rider for Test Track. At least half of my party won't do Test Track, and since I am not afraid of TT lol, my DH, sister and I don't mind getting split up (is there still a possibility some of us may end up riding together?).

My question now is, in between all of this, how do you fit in the M&G with Baymax and Joy and Sadness? These M&G are high priority (not highest, but high) for us, but I anticipate their lines will still be long even after (or more so) Frozen stuff is open. I was saying to FP+ FEA until after lunch, so that way we should have enough time after Soarin' and TT to wait on these two M&Gs. What is you guys' opinions on this?

Even if we have to do TT on our way out of the park that night, to me its not a big issue, although I think with Single Rider we should be OK.

From what I've seen when riding, I think the chance of getting in the same car is actually pretty good. Better than most other rides

I don't think there is anyway that they will not be opening FEA, and the Anna/Elsa M&G at 9am. The lines at the MK for just the M&G were ginormous. This is going to be super popular, and you have to consider the summer crowds. I don't see how they would make it work in the summer season if they delayed the opening until 11am. If we are unable to get FPs for FEA, we have an 8am ADR in Norway as plan B.
Of course my plan B could very well be destroyed if Disney decides to switch up morning EMH at EPCOT.

I agree. If they don't open the M&G and FEA until 11:00, they're probably going to have a huge mob of people just standing in that area (or however far they'll be allowed to go into world showcase) from 9:00 -- 11:00. And then at 11:00, "the rest" of the family will come join the placeholder in line. <eye roll> I don't see how they *can't* open those things at 9:00...but stranger things have happened.

I am assuming that FEA and the MandG for A and E will be 2 separate attractions??

So 2 slow moving lines to deal with instead of 1 moving at a glacial pace?

Not sure which would be better.

I wouldn't be surprised to see one of those go to all FP to reduce bodies in the area. I mean, they did test the concept on a few high profile attractions recently.

I do wonder how the waits at the M&G will be.
I mean, at MK they rarely go beyond 60 min anymore, and you'll often find Cinderella and Rapunzel to have a longer line.
I do think there will be a bump at Epcot but I'm just not sure it will be a massive bump

Interesting.... I think most guests will try to do the ride followed by the meet, and many may try to ride more than once but not meet more than once... Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out this summer!

Rope drop Soarin. FP TTrack from 930-1030. Go straight to front of WS and position yourself to "rope drop" FEA's 11:00 opening.

This is assuming Disney is stupid and doesn't open Norway until 11:00 am. I think Norway will open with Epcot, the restaurant is already open. A&E meet is open very long hours at MK so they have the personnel, and the ride is going to be slammed.

I think Test Track is going to go Tier 2. I can't believe they would make all three of the rides Tier 1.

Nope. It's the only thrill ride in the park, rarely has short waits, it needs to stay Tier 1. If anything Illuminations should be Tier 2 since it's possible to see it no problem without a FP+.

They are two completely different attractions and logistically there are buildings between the two of them so it's not even possible. AND there will be plenty who want to go on the ride but have no interest in a M&G. I could care less about the girls, seen them enough, but I do want to see their sommerhaus. They will both be very popular.

For parents with young kids, Epcot is going to become a nightmare if those are the three Tier 1s. They should just go to the Magic Kingdom model and get rid of tiers.

There is no where near enough attractions at Epcot to eliminate tiers. Until they get more built (there are a couple buildings sitting empty already) and create the wide appeal I don't see it happening. Many of the tier 2 attractions no one wants to do anyway so opening up to no tiers - people will snag all the good attractions at 60 days - it would not turn out well.

We booked a 8am breakfast at Akershus since I heard from so many people that Norway would more than likely open at 9am. I am hoping we can be done around 8:45 and jump into line for FEA and then the meet and greet after the ride. We are going to FP Soarin and do single rider for TT. I hope this strategy doesn't bite me in the behind!! We don't go till late September so I have time to see how all this plays out!!

Yep that's what I figured. But for selfish reasons I thought it would be great to kill 2 birds with one stone (or FP+)! Ha ha
