We are planning on going to Epcot for rope drop but have no FP as we are using them in afternoon park. Our main priority is FEA and the TT. No option for single rider.
We are staying at the Poly but have a vehicle and don't mind driving there either. Which transportation would get us there quicker and where do we proceed once we get there for a hopeful short line. We're a party of 5, quick walkers but do have a 6 yr old who is quick but not as quick as the rest of us and she is not in a stroller anymore.

With a car and free parking because you are staying at a Disney resort, I would personally just drive. I'm biased though because we always have a car at Disney and this is how we get around.

You're going to need to head directly to Frozen Ever After at rope drop, so position yourself on the side of future world that is closest to Norway once they let people in the gates (so keep to the left of spaceship earth as you are entering the park).

I would either drive or take a buss na get there about an hour before park opens, I would go to the main gate ( I would not use the IG) andI would try to line up on the left hand side when they first let you in and hold you in front of Space ship earth, then when they let you in run ( AKA walk fast) to FEA and then do TT.

and by all mans do not use a stroller wheel chair or ECV or anything else and a way to get to the ride faster. I have seen way too many people hurting other trying to get to a ride that it is not funny, you are at Disney enjoy your self if you have to wait in a line enjoy the theaming of the line and each other.

@Robo has a great map is you do not know where it is or how to get there, also if you can book an ADR for the place a Norway this will help a lot with FEA

Drive yourself, arrive an hour early to be near the front, then walk briskly toward Frozen with the drove of other zombies. You'll be on Frozen with a minimal wait. Then walk to TT and ride it, it should still have a minimal wait.

What if you go during AM EMH? Do you think you need to still arrive an hour early?

We did EMH this past Thurs .......got there about 30-45 min before opening and were close to the middle in the crowd. We headed to Soaring and had no wait. Most of the crowd did head toward Frozen but, I wouldn't think it would be a bad wait. My initial plan was to rope drop Frozen but we lucked up on FPs about 2 weeks before our trip.

So is the real question whether you want to wait in an hour long rope drop crowd, or an hour long Frozen queue?

What if one arrived at the park entrance right at 9 am? Would the Frozen line be about an hour, or would the line be longer than that at 9?

Probably be an hour, maybe more, if arriving right at 9.

The thing about arriving an hour early to the park is you beat the crowd and are off the ride and go on to another ride while people wait. So say by 10am you've done 2 or maybe even 3 rides while some are still at Frozen.

The answer to this is obvious, to me - I'd rather wait an hour in the rope drop crowd, because then I can ride Frozen quickly and be on my next ride by 9:30 (guessing). If I spend my hour waiting in the Frozen line, then I'm not on my next ride until 10:30. Easy. I'd rather be waiting when I have nothing better to do and riding something else isn't yet possible.

When we rope dropped Frozen we arrived about an hour early and were the first people in at the rope at Spaceship Earth. At 8:55 they opened and we walked leisurely to Frozen as my wife was overcoming a dog bite on her foot. Some speed walked, a couple people ran. We got to Frozen as quickly as you can walking a normal pace, our wait was 21 min (decided to time with my phone)

Wow. Then seems that arriving at 9 am could have quite a bit longer wait.

Definitely seems like arriving early is the way to go to maximize your time in the park, if you don't mind getting up early.

Another thing I'll add, for anyone that's a passholder. When we arrived early at Epcot, we got there about 7:55/8am for regular 9am opening. All the tapstiles had lines growing at them except for the Annual Passholder line. They were allowing AP's and early ADR guests in through the AP line before they opened all the other lines.

Welllllll..we had skipped stopping at Starbucks so my wife and sister decided to get coffee at the Joffreys stand prior to the park entrance. I decided to go in with my AP and told them to just come when they got the coffee. I walked up to Spaceship Earth expecting to see a rope, but nothing. No rope, no CM's scanning for adrs. Called my wife to hurry and get here but she had already ordered and was waiting. By the time they made it up to me the CM's were putting the rope up. That's how I wound up being the first at the rope. So if they wouldn't have stopped, we easily could've walked straight to Frozen and just waited directly at the ride.

So if you're an AP, it might pay off to arrive early and see if you can get in through the AP line and be in prior to the rope going up. I'm sure it's not a common occurrence, but worth a shot.

Wow. I guess that would be for guests with PPO ADRs and maybe the AP holders could slide in with them. Walking through Epcot alone is such an invigorating experience. We did that in April of 2016 when we had PPO ADRs and entered through the IG. Walked by all the beautiful topiaries and no one else was there.

I would test it out in July since I have an AP, but my only Epcot day I have the tour planned that starts at 8:30.
