FDA - Don't eat bagged spinach

Aha! THIS is what DS10 was saying! He told me he saw on the news that you aren't supposed to eat spinach. I figured there was more to it.

I nearly bought a bag last night but passed it up since I thought I could get it cheaper at another grocery store. I can't help but feel a little nervous about the bagged lettuce I did pick up even though I am sure it wasn't grown or processed in the same place as this spinach.

My store pulled ALL spinach off the shelf, even frozen. We don't want to take any chances with the health of our customers.

I'm another one who is glad I don't like spinach, but the rest of my family does.

I made spinach quesadillas last night for dinner and used bagged spinach! (I kinda freaked last night after hearing this on the Night news)
So far, everyone is feeling fine.

Sarcasm heavy post here....SO happy I ate bagged spinach this last week, trying to concentrate on upping my fresh greens because I am pregnant. SO glad that I am trying to eat healthy and something like this happens. I am so angry. Whatever could have been to prevent this SHOULD have been done.

So far I feel fine, but the incubation period is apparently 3-9 days. Since we first ate the spinach on Saturday night that would put me at about 6 days of feeling fine. I am still incredibly nervous however.
