FD PIN for blackout dates - have any canadians received it?

Just wondering if any Canadian members have received the free dining pin for the blackout dates? Several members are reporting having called in and have this pin associated to there name that was released on 7/13 but no emails.

I needed to tweak my November reservation so when I called today, I asked the CM what pins I had. She checked and the only one was the room-only code I used for the original booking. So, no nothing here...yet.

Is the pin-coded offer the same as the public offer just with more dates? I'm asking because I was able to use the public offer for my dates but had to pay to upgrade the dining plan from free quick service, since I'm staying at a value resort. Just trying to save a bit of money to spend on Christmas trinkets!

Yeah, pretty much from what I can tell, but without the blacked out dates.

Unfortunatly the Blackout dates start from Oct 29 to Nov 11 We would have to arrive 2 days later to make it work and due to flight restrictions the associated fees would eliminate the FD savings.

Just thinking out loud - would it work to book a room only for the first two nights, then transfer to the package once it's available? I've read of others on the Dis who have done something like that...

I couldn't take the waiting for an email any longer and decided to phone in. I received the most amazing CM who understood the scenario and took all the time in the world to try and find something associated to our names. She even tried applying other PIN's she had on hand for Canadians and unfortunately nothing applies to our dates. I'm back to waiting for the Magical Email to arrive. So many people posting about receiving the FD PIN I can't imagine leaving us out of the equation!

Check your email accounts, everybody! Today I got not one, but two, pin code offers for the free dining package. Dates: For arrivals most nights 10/3–11/23/10 and 11/28–12/16/10. I know at least some of those dates are out of the blackout period.


So there's hope! Alas, not going to be using those pin codes myself. Now if they offered me a smokin' hot room only discount, I might be tempted...

YUP!!! I got 2 - one in each email! As stated before, the only days blacked out are 24th to the 27th of November!! We are not going to be using it tho... Not planning to go back until NEXT August!! Here's hoping we get some great deals for NEXT summer!!
