FD at ASMu or OOP at Pop

Hello! We will be traveling with our two young kids- 4 and 2. We had reservations at Pop but can't seem to get FD for that week. However, I was able to secure FD for ASMu.

I know people really love pop, but is it worth paying OOP for dining?

You will be fine at ASMu. You will not be buying food so saving money. The only real difference is ASMu shares bus service with the other 2 Allstars. Sometimes it doesn't have to share busses. Busses are always gonna be hit or miss. Also u can secure ASMu then look for pop free dinning. If it comes up great if not you still have the free dinning.

First, your subject line says POO he he im guessing you meant OOP.

Between the two resorts, Pop is my fave. Im not a fan of music. However, for free dining in your case, i'd switch to music. The resorts dont always share buses. During my stay at sports in the fall, the buses only shared once...maybe twice. And it was in the middle of the day when it was pretty quiet. Overall, the buses arent any faster at pop than the all stars. I've stayed at both numerous times.

We stayed at ASMu last year for FD and just rebooked it again for this year's FD. POP was nice when we were there a few years ago, but to me there's not a whole lot of difference since rooms are almost identical. ASMu is a smaller resort than POP, which I liked. I was going to book POP this time just to change it up, but I couldn't get FD there either. No biggie.

Pop is a lot bigger than ASMu, so your walk to the bus will be quicker, and you have a much better chance of getting a seat on the bus too. During morning and evening hours, the All-Stars never share, only in the middle of the day when only 8 or 10 people are on the bus. You can walk from ASMu to both Movies and Sports so you have 2 other food courts and four other pools to go to. It's a great area.
