My family of 5 had an August cruise with two connecting staterooms. We have rescheduled to August 2021 and have leftover money that we will have as obc. Since our reservations/rooms will be linked, will the obc all be combined or will we need to be careful as to which room we make charges to so we don’t go over in one room and under in another?

We always book 2 staterooms for my family of 4. We have had OBC from Disney several times and we just use it together. I have the staterooms linked and all the charges from my son‘s stateroom comes to mine - their OBC included. I just pay the remaining charges from both staterooms before the cruise ends.

Our 2 verandah cabins for May were cancelled, so we have the same cabins on the same cruise in 2021. Except now, we have $800 OBC per stateroom. We will just do the same as we always have and link the boys stateroom charges to our account.

Thank you! This is what I assumed but wasn’t sure. This is our 8th cruise but the first time splitting into two rooms. I appreciate the feedback!

As I recall the last time I sailed with 2 staterooms and OBC for each stateroom, the credits for each stateroom stayed associated with the people in that stateroom (even though my wife was on "my" printout). It didn't matter since our excursions and gratuities were more than the OBC, but you might want to get a statement after the first or second night just to verify how the OBC is being applied (so you have time to move future charges if needed for the rest of the cruise). Trust but verify is my normal policy for DIS advice.

When you do online check in, there is a section that talks about payment. You can identify if someone is paying for someone else. You can select everyone to be paid by a single primary payer. All charges (and in this case OBC) will be under a single portfolio. Easy peasy.
