Found this about FBI Most Wanted Captured in Disneyland:

Disneyland Security helped apprehend one of FBI's Most Wanted yesterday after being alerted by a guest of a bank robber on the property.

The robber, Curtis Cordery, had robbed a Utah credit union in July with the aid of an accomplice. A gun was used in the robbery.

Let me take this chance to say that I think Disneyland Security is awesome. I like that their security are mature, experienced, season men (for the most part). Their grandfatherly (I hope they don't mind!) appearance is just right for the kind of trustworthy security I'd like to see. I get the impression that many of them have a LOT of law enforcement experience.

Hurray for them being able to help catch a bank robber!pirate:

I live a few miles away from the Credit Union that was robbed and Ive been watching this story closely. I was shocked when I heard that he had been captured at Disneyland. Just goes to show you that EVERYONE loves DL.

Its good to know someone realized who he was and called him on it. I agree Disneyland security is just amazing. Seriously... There have been incidences where guests have had melt downs over petty things in stores and since employees dont want to be yelled at and harassed like any other person, security was called in and they came literally within the minute. It was so fast that it made you stand there and go WOAH!

I remember this ~ it happened on my DD's B~day! They talked about this last night on the local news.

Is it true that they marched him over to IASW, cuffed him to a boat & forced him to ride it all day until he gave up the location of the loot? :lmao:

Thanks for the post & the link, OP. :thumbsup2

This makes me laugh because whenever we go to Disneyland, someone from our neighborhood is always there...Utahn's and their disneyland. Go figure. LOL

No loot, he had to spend it all on tickets, hotel and food. Wow if Disneyland is soo expensive you literally have to rob a bank to afford to go.......:rolleyes1

We do love our Disneyland!
I know DL is where I'd go if I suddenly found myself with a bag full of "slightly discolored" money. :lmao:

Think more along the lines of Schoolteacher experience ;).

Many of our Security Hosts and Hostesses, particularly during the Peak Season when Seasonal CMs are working, are High School Teachers who work during school breaks in order to make money.

It's not as common as it was in the previous years, but it's still fairly common, from my experiences.

Comes in quite handy during Grad Nites, lol.

Walt's magic is good, but it knows who deserves it!

So cool. They are much better than local law enforcement up here.
