FB Blocked Me!!!

I don't know if it was a router problem, a malware problem or connection issue. But I just got blocked from facebook from posting over 200x's in 2 mins. I posted a shortish post on two different friends walls. The posts each showed up over 100 times in 1 mins time.

There is no way I could physically make the posts over 100 x's in 1 min. I've never had this happen before but Facebook just "Block! You are engaging in abuse behavior that may be considered annoying or abusive by other members."

I wish I knew what caused this..has anybody ever heard of this happening.

Agreed. Somehow, your account was probably hacked. You should see if you can change your password asap.

Sounds like you picked up a FB virus and FB blocked you from spamming the boards.

Happened to a friend of mine a while back they said she was sending spam...she eventually got her account back by going through 'help' but it did take a while...she opened a new account while she waited, then went back to original account after the problem was solved. Be prepared though it happened to her twice.

My daughters account was blocked for not being who she said she was. Funny she only had the account because a teacher was communicating assignmnets that way.

My husband mentioned that but I didn't do that.

I'm still blocked. It doesn't even say how long I'm blocked; that's one of the frustrating points.

I'm going to go change my password now.

Consider it a blessing because Facebook is quickly selling all the information on its users to the highest bidders. I don't feel comfortable on there at all.

OP i dont think you were hacked-sounds more like you got a virus-social network sites are one of the best places for those. Do a good virus scan and scrub on your computer. Sorry don't have any good answers on how long you will be blocked-i dont facebook.
As for what they could sell-people put and extraordinary amount of personal information on the thing-plus is a marketing dream because they also provide tons of informotion on prefereances and such by the pages they "like". Additionally-they have everyones IP address. Theres a ton of info out there.
