Faxing room Preference Questions

We are staying at PO-FQ the second week of June. When we made our reservation we requested building #5 (non-smoking), third floor, standard view. Do you think that we will need to fax our room request to the room controller next week, or will this be overkill? I really do not want to tick anyone off, but we are choosy about our room selection. If we are checking in on Friday, which day will the room request need to be faxed?

I've read that you only need to make a room request once. Did your room request show up on your confirmation? If not you may want to fax it in about 4 days before you arrive. Hope this helps.
