fax timing for room req.

My question is about a room request fax. I know from reading here that we should fax our request 3-4 days prior to arrival. The problem is that we will be aboard ship four days prior. Should we call CRO and mention our requests to be placed on our ressie or should we fax early (Sat.-which would be 5 days prior to arrival) and risk being placed in the "forgotten folder"?

I fax it early. Just mention that you are sending it just prior to yur cruise and would appreciate any consideration they can give you for your stay starting.....
