I am not sure what I want for our dining plan table services. Since we are DD (6) Dh the meat eater, DML and DFL and myself the new vegetarian. What did you like at whispering canyon?

I have down several choices for them to pick from and I dont know if this one should make the list.

We were at WCC last week, and this was actually our favorite meal of the whole trip! The service and food were wonderful. My kids (ages 2 1/2 and 5) loved their grilled cheese dinners, and DH (a manly man!) was in heaven with the all-you-can eat skillet. I'm not sure if you eat fish, but I had the grouper and it was good. I also LOVED whatever salad dressing they put on the mixed greens salad-- It was so yummy!

As for the antics there, we're pretty reserved and our waiter seemed to read us well. He joked around with the kids a little bit, and leaved DH alone--- which was a good thing! Our kids loved participating in a stick horse race around the restaurant, and were rewarded with a little certificate at the end.

I give this place a big thumbs up! :thumbsup2 Make your ADR as soon as you can, though, because it's very popular. (I tried to change our time at WCC two months out and they were booked solid at that point!)

Have a great trip! :)

P.S. Love your screen name, budbeerlady! You'll love the way they serve beer at WCC, too.

We loved this place and ate there twice when we stayed at WL last time. On our upcoming trip, we're going there again even though our resort is Poly. I had a special fish last time which was not on the regular menu, and it was honestly the best meal I had that whole week. The kids' meals are standard kid fare. And the atmosphere is the best!

The previous poster is right, though. You need to make your ADRs early. It's very popular.

We had a rather spectacular breakfast here, somesort of skillet creation and a wonderful muffin basket. Remembering the waitress commenting on the "ladylike" choice I had made :) would have stopped a mac truck!

We always get the Skillet Meal. The ribs are great along with everything else. This restaurant is a family favorite!

You all are making me hungry! DH & I are thinking of trying it out for our anniversary in August. Since there will just be the 2 of us, and it will be toward the end of the month when kids will be back in school (25th), do you think we will need ressies? I haven't made ANY ADR's, but we usually only eat table service 2 or 3 times. We will be there longer than the usual 7 days this time, so we might eat more table service BUT we will also be staying DVC, so doing some in room meals and grilling, too. Am I crazy to try to wing it???

We only go to WCC to see Bobby Joe the waiter in my siggie picture.

I did have the roasted chicken last time and that was very tasty....

Free Dining starts Aug 13th so I think you will need ADRs for any TS you plan on visiting
