I am planning for my upcoming trip and will be staying onsite WDW for 6 nights with the DDP. There are several restaurants that I have decided we will be doing including Hoop Dee Doo, Crystal Palace, and Yak and Yeti. I still have at least two restaurants to decide on.

What are your top 5 ranked Disney table service restaurants (excluding signature dining)? Are there any in Epcot that are must do's?

I really liked Akershus, but DH didn't.
Our whole family, three generations, liked 1900 Park Fair and we have it booked again.

At Epcot we enjoy many of the international restaurants in WS including:
Via Napoli in Italy, Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco, Biergarden in Germany, Rose & Crown in UK, Akershus in Norway, Teppan Edo in Japan.
Lots to choose from

Teppan Edo is definitely our kids' favorite Epcot restaurant and the only restaurant at Disney that is a "must do" for them. Wife and I also like Teppan Edo and Chefs de France, but our kids only thought Chefs de France was so-so. 'Ohana is my wife's favorite TS. The Wave at Contemporary is good. My favorite is probably Raglan Road.

We like all the TS at Epcot, some more than others but will eat at all of them. We love Brown Derby at HS, eat there just about every trip. We fell in love with Tiffins at AK last trip in December and will have problems staying away from it (we try not to repeat and since our next trip is for F&G will eat mostly at booths). We enjoy Skipper's Canteen at MK as well.

At Epcot, for my husband and me, it's the Biergarten. I'm not a heavy meat eater but still manage to walk out of there stuffed silly. We've only had one bad experience with being seated with other people but the sourpusses that caused the problem quickly ate and left and the rest of us talked so much we almost missed Illuminations!

At the Studios, we like the Sci Fi for the burgers and just relaxing and watching the silly film clips. And we like that once we start seeing "reruns" of the clips, we know we've been there too long so leave and it's less than an hour.

Cape May Dinner new favorite, Chefs de France-my must do

Kae

These are the ones we go back to everytime we go down to WDW :

- Biergarten : our son loves the show and the fake German evening still works after 35 years being there
- Boma : out of the way in AKL (if not staying there, but it warrants a visit).
- Garden Grill : It spins !
- Liberty Tree Tavern. Very similar menu to Garden Grill. We try not to do them back-to-back. The theming is very nice
- Tusker House. I would go there over Y&Y any day of the week.

As you can see, we prefer buffets and family-style places when in WDW. We don't have those where we live, so it's a change for us.

We have not been to Tiffins or Skipper's canteen but I'm sure we'll love them based on reviews and menus.

Here are our favorites"

- Teppen Edo
- Liberty Tree Tavern
- Whispering Canyon
- I can't remember the name but it is the Italian restaurant at the Boardwalk

Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk is great!
We also like Via Napoli in Epcot.
Also enjoy Trails End buffet & Ohana
Those are usually a go to every trip

First off, you're going to love HDDR. It's always a highlight of our trips, when we choose to go.

If you're interested in a character meal, Garden Grill is a good choice at Epcot. Biergarten is one of our favorites, as is San Angel Inn ( the one inside the pyramid), but we usually eat QS at Epcot. Tangierine Cafe in Morocco is one of the best QS in all of DW, better than many TS.

Sci Fi is a classic favorite for us, Ohana too.

Sanaa.

I love BOG and Skipper Canteen for the theming, but I sadly have to admit that the quality of the food at both is hit or miss. This is hard for me to say because I am very sentimental about BOG, but they are worth seeing at least once, imo.

Thats eight TS, and one QS you didn't ask for, so I'll stop there.

Thanks everyone for your enthusiastic replies! I have been torn between Teppan Edo and Marrakesh at Epcot. I wanted to try something new and have already eaten at Coral Reef, San Angel Inn, Biergarten, Rose and Crown, Akershus, as well as Le Cellier. Since we are eating at the Yak and Yeti (must do according to DH) I was going to avoid the Chinese restaurant as Yak and Yeti is asian food (maybe?). We have eaten there on several previous trips and this is what I remember. I can't wait to try a new place!

Every TS @ AKL/Villas is awesome. All different & all excellent.
We just found out about the Wave, on our last trip, and that soon became a family favorite:thumbsup2.
@ DS, we personally Love:love: Bongo's... Raglan Road too.

Over at EPCOT We did T.E. but honestly it's no better than your local hibachi place. Actually The ones near us are way better TBH. We do enjoy TOKYO dining--> ALOT. Another Family favorite is Tutto Italia. *( a lil pricey ) but great service & food.. Or try Via Napoli...A different dining experience, and definitely louder, but pretty good pizza. We also enjoy the fun & food over at Biergarten too.

We ate at Boma the last time we stayed onsite and we really loved it....a lot of different choices over and above the usual fare.

I may not be agreed with , but we loved loved loved Skippers Canteen. It was our first time eating there and for us, its a certain dinner for our next trip.

Ohana is the must do for us.
California Grill is also very high on the list for a date night, adult atmosphere. We also really enjoyed the Wave for breakfast.

Ohana if you can get in, Boma always good and different and for Epcot Tutto Italian.

Absolutely, We hate callin it a Buffet because that is sort of an injustice....

My top 5 non-signature TS restaurants are:
-Boma
-Biergarten (Epcot)
-San Angel Inn (Epcot)
-Kona (breakfast)
-50's Prime Time Cafe
