Thought I'd start a fun thread. What is your favourite ride at DL / DCA and why?

August will be our first trip so I can't answer yet, but at WDW my favorite is Haunted Mansion. I just love all the detail, off-things to notice...such as the clock that goes up to 13 and moves backwards...and stories going on around you. (Unfortunately we'll miss this ride at Disneyland as we're coming the last week in August)

I think Haunted Mansion is my favorite as well! I have the most fun on it and every ride feels like the first ride, it never gets old. I feel like I notice something I never noticed before each time.

Sorry to hear you'll be missing it!

That was a tough choice though! 2nd is a four way tie between Pirates, California Screamin, Small World, and V o/ Little Mermaid, haha.

My favorite ride changes all the time, but ever since the upgrades were made to BTMRR it has been my favorite at DL. At DCA my favorite has been Grizzly River Rapids since my family ended Dapper Day last year by riding it and getting soaked in our fancy clothes.

Radiator Springs. I love the beginning of the ride coming around the corner to the waterfall and the music. The race is pretty fun too.

My favourite at DL is definitely Big Thunder, with Pirates being a close second.

Soarin' used to be my DCA favourite but the new film has put it second to California Screamin'.

Indiana Jones! Because it so fast, fun and exciting! The best part when you are chased by the large rolling rock!

Mine used to be ToT but now I would say Indy and Midway Mania because I can always go for a higher score!

Definitely Pirates, it's a classic and a must do on every trip. I really love BTMRR too. At DCA it has to be RSR. The race at the end is so fun. Try it a night for a whole different experience.

BTMRR for sure in DL. POTC for nostalgia sake.

Screamin in DCA, or previously TOT.

Pirates of the Caribbean because it's like being transported to another land for awhile. It was so magical going on it as a kid and it's still magical as an adult. I like going on it one last time for our last ride of every trip.

At dl it is definitely splash. It's the ride I have the most vivid memories of being at during my childhood trips. I remember being so hot and waiting in line with my family. And now it's my son and my favorite ride. My favorite at dca was tower but now I'll have to go with screamin :)

Haunted Mansion! I have fond childhood memories of it (fave is when the knights would scare you). Pirates too. They both last a long time and you can soak them in and find new treasures every time.

I would have said Tower of Terror in DCA.... Oh well :(
Soaring over CA.. oh wait. Hmmmm....
RSR it is!

The train. I love riding the train once around the park just to sit, relax and take in all the hustle, bustle and the most important, the beauty of the park. If my family would let me, I would love to sit and ride it for a couple of hours straight, just to look at the park!

My favorite at DL is Indiana Jones! With PoTC a close second (so much better than the one at WDW) and RSR at DCA such great detail and ride experience. I must say though our favorite attraction is the Frozen play in DCA. The wife and I were dreading going to see this as we don’t like broadway type shows all that much. We were shocked at how much we loved this show! So impressive do not miss this!

DL - Indiana Jones
DCA - Radiator Springs
They both give me the feeling of actually being in the movie/experience.

Indiana Jones. I love how immersive the whole experience is, including the line. Star Tours and Pirates are a close second, for nostalgia's sake (although I really miss the old Star Tours with Rex the droid).

Splash Mountain in Disneyland!

Tower of Terror was definitely my favorite in California Adventure. Now I would say Radiator Springs Racers because, like TOT, I cannot get through the ride without a huge smile spreading across my face!

Splash Mountain and it's been my favorite for about 23 years. I have great memories of going on this ride with my brother and Dad. I love the weird musty smell in the queue... I love that it has has part thrill, part "enjoy the imagineering" with great soundtrack.

ToT was my favorite at DCA. Now probably TSMM
