Hi, I have spent the last few months denying myself wonderful food, to train for the London Marathon ! - we are off to Florida at the end of August for two weeks, and one of my main interests whilst there will be eating ! We are staying on I drive but will be eating everywhere and anywhere in the parks...

So, whats your favourite food (not just restaurants, could be pizza take out, donughts, sweeties, beer, etc. etc. )

Tell me, and I promise to try them all !!!!

would appreciate your recommendations......i'm hungry just thinking about it.

Where do I start???
Key Lime pie in the Keys?
Salmon in Jack Daniels sauce at TGI Fridays?
Seafood pasta at the Olive Garden?
Breakfast with Winnie the Pooh in Crystal Palace (MK)?
A genuine American glass of chiled A & W rootbeer?
A big banana split from Dairy Queen?

Is that enough???
Try them - you'll love them!!

where'd u get it - anywhere specific...

it always tasted to me (when they sold it in mc donalds a long time ago) how germolene smells...does that make sense??

You've got to try it! (Yes it does smell like germoline)
I first tasted A & W rootbeer at one of their drive in's 40 years ago - and I still love it!!
You've got to visit an A & W, and get one of their root beer's in a chilled glass - its glorious - especially in the summer heat!!

Hi FF,
Just done a search on the A & W website, and there's loads on IDrive.
Happy Drinking!

I have bought root beer in our local Sainsburys. It does smell and taste of germolene. DH loves it and it is the only thing no one else in our house will touch - makes me shudder just thinking about it

Breakfast biscuits, a lot like scones but just nicer off the hot buffet with thier weird grey gravy
Pink lemonade with lots of ice, my favourite theme park drink.

I'm on a diet/ exercise kick at the minute so I look good for my August trip, think I'm looking forward to the food as much as the rides.
CONGRATULATIONS on your achievement :cheer2:

Fabulous big steaks and fresh seafood - finding either of these of great quality in the UK can be really difficult, but they seem plentiful over in the US...

Hhhmmm, breakfast at IHOP... probably the American version of "Little Chef", but absolutely NO COMPARISON!!! If you want a good quality full American breakfast at a reasonable cost, IHOP is a great place to go (although not everyday  ).
