We arrive April 30/17 and this is our first trip to Disney. My husband was there once as a child and I've never been. We will be bringing our daughters ages 6 & 9. Thanks to many helpful people on this board we have picked our character meals but I'm looking for suggestions for our remaining meals. We will have the Disney Dining Plan and Park Hopper. So my question is, what has been your all time favorite dining experience (food, service, atmosphere) for both table serve and counter serve meals? TIA

SciFi is a fun atmosphere and we always have great service there. My husband is a huge fan of Ohana dinner so I have to recommend that one too.

Ohana dinner. My daughter loves the coconut races.

For CS we LOVED Yak and Yeti in AK. Columbia Harbor House in MK. My kids prefer Cosmic Ray's in MK because of the singing scene.

On our trip after Labor Day our favorite meal was definitely Sanaa. The entrees were scrumptious and the service impeccable. Lovely atmosphere, seated right by the window. COuldn't see many animals because there was a massive storm outside, but still gorgeous! Our other favorite meal was Morimoto Asia.

My youngest daughter is obsessed with animals! I just looked this place up and it looks amazing!

THanks for the other suggestions! So much to choose from. It's going to be a tough decision!

For regular Table Service, I love Sanaa. The bread service and the butter chicken are delish and the view can't be beat.
My fave character meal is lunch at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. Great food, good character interaction, and the safari outfits are adorable. My niece also loved having dinner inside the castle at Be Our Guest. And, she likes the german Biergarten buffet at EPCOT and Raglan Road at Disney Springs because she can dance.

We like San Angel for the atmosphere in Epcot. Yak and Yeti in AK is delicious and never lets us down. We are also a big fan of O'Hana for breakfast - but I see you already have your character meals picked.
Be our Guest is always a fave for lunch on the DDP because of the atmosphere and value for a CS meal.

QS we liked Columbia Harbor House, Flanetree BBQ, Backlot Express and Las Hallas in France. For TS we liked Ohana breakfast, Sci-fi, Via Nopoli, and Beaches and Cream!

TS - 50's Prime Time, Sci-Fi, Teppan Edo, Biergarten, Be Our Guest, Kona Café, California Grill

CS - Columbia Harbour House, Yak & Yeti Local Foods, Starring Rolls, Flametre BBQ, Casey's Corner

We all really enjoyed our meal at Mama Melrose. We didn't do the Fantasmic package, but it's a very good value on the DDP if that is something that interests you.

MK - LTT lunch. BOG dinner and Tony's Dinner. For CS lunch we like CHH.

Epcot - CR lunch or dinner, Chefs dinner, Le Cellier dinner, and Tutto lunch.

DHS - Sci Fi lunch and 50's PTC dinner.

AK - Rainforest Cafe lunch.

Resorts - Boma breakfast or dinner. WCC breakfast. Trail's End Buffet breakfast.

Often overlooked is The Wave (of American Flavors) at the Contemporary Resort. We *love* The Wave for a relaxed, yummy breakfast.

AK- Yak and Yeti's

DHS - SciFi Dine In Theater

Epcot - Le Cellier (lunch or dinner), Coral Reef (dinner) - Has a huge aquarium window on one wall that everyone will love, Biergarten Buffet in Germany (great variety, can be a little loud at times).

MK - We usually pick whatever counter service looks good.

A lot of the less well-known gems for dining are at the resorts. We love Citrico's and Narcoosee's (both at the Grand Floridian), and Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge. On a side note, the Wilderness Lodge is worth a visit just to walk around the resort. IMO, it's one of the best themed resorts, and a fun boat ride from MK.

TS - La Hacienda de San Angel, 'Ohana, Via Napoli, The Wave (we've only had breakfast but would go back for dinner in a heartbeat), the Boathouse
QS - Columbia Harbor House

Tie between Be Our Guest dinner (the setting is beautiful, the steak was fantastic and the grey stuff was delicious) and Tusker House breakfast (easily the best breakfast on site, the food is amazing)

Some recent excellent dining experiences: Tiffins, Garden Grill character breakfast, The Wave, Sanaa, Skipper Canteen.

A few recent disappointments: Be Our Guest (dinner), Boma (dinner).

Oh, and I agree, Sci-Fi at Hollywood Studios is a fun experience and the food is pretty good for what it is.

Thanks for the suggestions! I added a few to our ts list and I'm going to use the cs suggestions when planning each day at the park. :D
