Favourite CS - another question 11/7

Animal Kingdom- Pizzafari
Epcot- Tangierine Cafe
Hollywood Studios- Backlot Express
Magic Kingdom- Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (although I'm trying CHH next month and I suspect that will be my new favourite!)

Downtown Disney- Wolfgang Puck Express

Resort- I've not had many CS meals at resorts, so out of the ones I've had I'd say the Pop Century food court was the best (lots of choice)

11/7 - Thinking of using some C/S as people suggested to take sandwiches out with us, but I know wolfgang is not open until 9am. Thinking of taking when go universal but leaving early about 7/7.30 - does anyone know of anywhere that does "to go" counter services at that time of day????

Maybe your resort CS?

I can't remember if the Mara had pre packed sandwiches but they certainly had salads etc.

I personally wouldn't want to eat anything that had been lugged around a hot theme park for a morning though. I'd say have breakfast at your resort, then a small meal at US and dinner back at the resort if you don't want to spend much while out.

My train of thought was :-

We are staying at royal pacific for one night, so intend to get to universal around 7.30 to check in, as we can then get express passes and go into the park an hour early for HP.

I thought then because we would not have had time to eat breakfast could eat the CS around 9ish when the park is open normally, have a light bite to eat lunch time, and then have dinner in city walk or back the hotel.

If you pick what you order carefully you can order the night before and keep it in the fridge. If you are going to eat sandwiches for breakfast they wouldn't have been lugged around in the heat - or at least not unless you eat breakfast very late.

Here are my favourites:

MK - Columbia Harbour House
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons / Tangierine Cafe
HS - Starring Rolls Cafe
AK - Tend not to bother with counter service here as I think the choices are poor so usually end up grabbing fresh fruit and a pretzel or eating at a resort instead

As for resort hotels I love the Mara at AKL and also the Roaring Fork at WL.

Lol, I have done that there too, but not because I don't like the CS. The pretzels just smelt so yummy and I love fruit. I have to say, those two snacks made me a meal I couldn't finish!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who does that! I think the reason I don't rate the counter service options at AK is usually because I always get so hot and exhausted whenever I tour the park, I never feel like eating much

True. For some reason AK always seems to be incredibly hot! I think the dense vegetation keeps more moisture in the air and prevents air from circulating quickly enough through there.

Thanks for the welcome. Have been going to Disney World for years and cannot believe I have only just found this place. I think I'm going to become addicted to these boards very quickly!

If you're on the DDP, you can sub the dessert for crisps. I love the crisps there.
