Favorites from our trip last week

Just back from our trip last week. We had a grand time. Loved it all but here are our favorites:

Favorite Park :thewave:

• Epcot (me & DH) - It's tough for me to pick..
• MK (DD8 and DD2) - easy for them to pick!

Favorite Ride

• Soarin' (me & DH) - Rode at least 5 times.
• RnRC (DD8) - a thrill rider is born...
• Buzz (DD2) - a great family ride

Favorite Live Show

• Millionaire (me, DH, DD2) - because I made it to the HOT SEAT - Yahoo!!!
• Beauty & Beast (DD8) - It was beautiful and well done

Favorite Movie

• Philharmagic (everyone) - easy pick

Favorite Character

• Chip & Dale (me) - gotta love those chipmunks
• Goofy (DH) - takes one to know one
• all of them - esp. Mary Poppins (DD8 & DD2)

Favorite Character Meal

• LTT (me & DD8) - fun characters & good food
• 1900 Park Faire b'fast (everyone) - quiet, laid back & good food
• CP b'fast (DD2) - great Pooh characters & parade around the room

Favorite Non-character Meal

• Biergarten (me & DH) - Loved the food & entertainment
• WCC (DD8 & DD2) - The look on DD2's face when the ketchups came was priceless. Good food and fun for everyone.

Favorite Counter Service Meal

• Sunshine FC at the Land (me) - great food.
• Col Harbor House (DH) - good fish
• POR FQ foodcourt (DD8 and DD2) - great chicken quesadillas and desserts

Favorite Snack

• Itzakadoozie (everyone) - Wish we could get them around here!

Thanks for your reviews! Just wondering what did you have at the Sunshine Seasons food court? I've read the menu but I didn't find anything appealing. Your good review gives me new hope.

Kupperman - Everybody enjoyed their meals. DH & I had the Black Forest Ham sandwich and DB had the salmon entree. DSIL had either the Turkey sandwich or the Vegie sandwich (can't remember). Kids had the mini subs. Everything was very good.

Kathy - I was not very good in the Hot Seat. I was quite nervous and couldn't think straight. I got to the second milestone question ($32,000 I think it is) and missed it. It's not the same as playing at home. I never expected to be in the Hot Seat. I almost fainted.

Glad you had a great trip. Just wanted to let you know that we can get Itzakadoozies at our local markets (I am in the Boston area). I think they are made by Nestle.

What's an "itzakadoozie" and where do you get it?

Itzakadoozies are multi-flavored popsicles that they sell at all of the ice cream carts. My DD2 and I can't eat ice cream so we have to forego the mickey bars. We got hooked on the itzakadoozies so much that DH and DD8 ended up getting them too just cause they thought they were missing out on something.

They ended up being everyone's favorite MYW dining snack.

2pirates&2tinks -Thanks for the info. I will check out my local grocery stores. The girls would be so surprised to see an itzakadoozie in our freezer.

We CAN get them at home--I think Good Humor is the brand name--but I have to admit that it takes a bit of the fun out of them at WDW if we buy them here in Illinois.

I did the same survey thing with my family and dole whips came out on top for my DD16, Mickey bars for DD13 and DH48, I think I have to go with that chocolate chip ice cream sandwich (the ones you buy off the cart, not from the bakery--the bakery ones were one of my biggest WDW disappointments)

Thanks -- We're glad you enjoyed our review. My DD8 gets the credit as she took the family survey and helped me put it together. She had fun picking out the "smiles" to go with the lists.

1st: loved the review! what a great idea. maybe i will try to put mine together and put it in the scrapbook. thanks for the idea!!!

2nd: i have looked everywhere for the itzakadoozies. i bought them last year at stop and shop(local market), but have looked everywhere this year(since we've been back from the world) and can not find them ANYWHERE!!! bummer.
