Hi, all! We are sailing on the Wonder in December and I am wondering if y'all would share some of your favorite things to do on the ship, favorite places to sit and watch the world, touring the ship, best times to swim, etc. Anything that you can share would be great! Thanks in advance!!

We love the Wonder...we have cruised 4 times on her and are going again in October. We love walking around Deck 4 after breakfast and during the evening's. It is a great place to walk or simply sit and watch the ocean go by. Another small, but fun thing is to go to Route 66 (deck 3) and follow the map which is actually the carpet. It takes you all the way down Route 66 and the portholes there are really comfortable to sit in. Don't miss the Golden Mickey's or Disney Dreams, they are wonderful. If your family likes to meet character's, there are plenty of them around. You can look in the Navigator for who, where and when. They also have a character board in the atrium lobby with the list of who will be out, when and where. There are so many great things to discover once you are on board and the fun part is finding them yourself! Just go on explore and have a awesome cruise!

Thank you thank you thank you! You are awesome! We are so excited! Enjoy your October cruise!

Just off our Wonder cruise to Alaska a week ago. One of my favorite places is the Outlook Café. Very relaxing (no kids) with coffee drinks, snacks, etc... We also enjoyed the Promenade Lounge before and after dinner. They have live music sometimes but there are also board games you can play.

Have a great trip. I loved the Wonder!

Yup ... Outlook Cafe and the Cove Cafe one deck below are the absolute best adult spots to grab some quiet time with a decent cuppa coffee.

We agree, DH will probably stay indoors most of the PC crossing, but sitting in the Outlook Cafe gives him
a chance to catch the action outside.

Promenade Lounge, as mentioned, is also a good place for the indoors with a view thing. Now, note that it gets a little loud and kid-filled ahead of the early dinner seating. But otherwise it's a good place to take a load off and watch the world go by through a big old porthole.

Regarding tours, let me recommend the Art of the Theme Show tour that's held (I think) 4 times on a 7-day sailing. It's a design-centric tour around pointing out the elements that make the Wonder special from a theming point of view. It's a really fun way to blow an hour or so.

That's great info. Thanks so much!

Our favorite places to watch the world go by are on the comfy Deck 4 chairs and in Cove Cafe and Outlook Cafe. And don't forget the yummy snacks in Cove Café and Outlook Café (free).

We were on the Wonder 15 days in May.

-deck 4 in the evenings and late afternoons
-if we skipped dinner (late seating) we always had the entire Mickey Pool to ourselves
-we also found ourselves sitting at the back outdoor part of Beach Blanket at breakfast. We even spent the entire day there on Panama Canal Day. We had a table in one of the two arms/cut out things, so we had a full view of both sides and it was awesome! No one was up there. We were in the sun though.
