H and I will be in Disney in January, and we're already starting to look at where we want to eat while we're there. We're already planning for Rose & Crown Pub, Narcoossee's, Le Cellier (if we can get an ADR this time), 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Pepper Market and a bunch of other counter service restaurants while we're there for 8-days, but I'd like to know: what are your favorite resort restaurants? What restaurant, to you and your family, is a "can't miss"?

Thanks!

'Ohana is our not to be missed restaurant but we also have other favorites that are not resort restaurants but as far as resort favorites our family likes 'Ohana, Chef Mickeys Boma and Jiko.

For CS we love pepper market it's our favorite!!

These will be CS restaurants for us next time, must dos. :thumbsup2

Poly-Captain Cook's
POR/POFQ-both have good choices
CSR-Pepper Market
DTD-Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Puck Express

We just got back yesterday and I'd say Chefs de France was the best meal we had on the trip.

California Grill in the Contemporary is our absolute favorite restaurant. You combine the fine wine choices with fabulous food, service and then top it off with the view of Wishes over MK and it's a perfect choice at DW for dinner.

Our second is Blue Zoo at the Dolphin. This restaurant had superb food and service. Our meals were out of this world.

You made some great ADR choices! Enjoy :)
Let me know if you have any questions.

We also, on our last trip to DW, ate at Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Bistro de Paris EPCOT, and Marrakesh in EPCOT.

When we went in February, the restaurants we ate at were:

Boma
Kona Cafe
Narcoossee's
Teppan Edo
Coral Reef
Maya Grill

When we go back in December, we have ADR's at Kona Cafe, Narcoossee's and Maya Grill again. Since we liked them enough to go back again, I'd definitely recommend them. :thumbsup2 We will also be going to Wolfgang Puck Express for CS at least once. We went twice last time and loved it. :lovestruc

Flying Fish at the Boardwalk for a sit down
Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for a buffet

Favorite resort CS: Captain Cooks at the POLY
The pulled pork sandwhich, and flatbread pizzas are my favorites. Oh, and can't forget the yummy polynesian chips!!!

Favorite resort TS: Kona Cafe
Love the sticky wings and the teriyaki beef is awesome!!!

Do yourself a favor and skip Le Cellier. The Yachtsman Steakhouse is exponentially better!

Add Artist Point, Citricos, and Flying Fish to the list as well.

Wow, thank you, good to know about Le Cellier. We couldn't get a res last time we went (same timeframe), and we love a good steak dinner, so we'll check out Yachtsman Steakhouse.

We've been to Chef Mickey's, Narcoossee's and Pepper Market before (and Maya Grill), and we loved them all which is why we're going back. Chef Mickey's was our "park kick off night" dinner - we went there after spending our first day at MK and it was just what we wanted - a late reservation, we had all the time we wanted with the characters, and the food was delicious.

Thanks everyone. I really want to check out a few different resort restaurants so we can check out the resorts for our next, next trip ;)

We love the pulled pork sandwich at WDW - we usually share it when we are at DWWS, so we may be pulled porked out by later in the trip after having it at least twice - LOL. But I'll check out Kona Cafe, sounds good. H loves teriyaki beef!

On the DDP
Narcoosees
Yachtsman
Off the DDP
Shulas
Fultons

If you don't mind the extra expense or having to dress up a bit: Victoria and Alberts, hands-down it is the very best restaurant on property.

We think the Yak and Yetti is a can't miss. It's like a PF Changs, but better. Boma's at AKL is also a crowd pleaser :-)

I am taking a 5 and 16 year old to planet hollywood will they both enjoy the experience/

Most probably, especially the 16-year-old. Of course, much depends on their attitudes, level of experience, etc. What do they like/need?

I have not eaten at WDW PH, but I have dined there as a chaperone in the Chicago restaurant, and teens really love it. I would guess the younger ones like it, too.

For me, I'd rather dine in a less-franchise-ee type place, but my meal was good, and I had a great time.

I'd love to hear why you like Yak and Yetti so much. We're staying at AKL next week and may opt for an AKP restaurant. Would you please tell more? Thank you so much!

We absolutely love Marrakesh in Morocco. Lamb, Couscous, mint tea, great service, and when was the last time you got to watch an authentic belly dancer?!

It's a not miss for us when we go.
