Which US based ABD have you taken that you've loved?
**Excluding SoCal (done it) and San Fran (booked)
Thanks for the input!

I've done both the Arizona/Utah trip, and the Alaska trip. They've both changed a bit since I took them (2008 & 2009 - the Alaska trip more than the Arizona/Utah one) but I still highly recommend them both. I've done 8 ABDs, and the Arizona/Utah trip still remains one of my all-time favorites. Alaska is a great trip, also, if you're interested in areas beyond the main 48 states. I'd do either of them again if I wasn't still working my way through ABDs I haven't done yet.

Thank you!

I've done the San Francisco weekend (LOVED that one) and the Alaska ABD. Between them, I preferred San Francisco. Later this year we are doing the Montana/Canada trip. It's not completely in the US, but it IS a North American trip. I'll let you know how that one goes!

Please do!!

Give me another 5 weeks and I'll let you know about NYC. This will be my first NYC trip as an adult and my wife's first trip that wasn't in a cab changing airports.

We enjoyed the NYC trip. Did it the first year it was offered. Living on Long Island we had been to NYC many times. This was special, fun and unique. Enjoy!

We did both So Ca and NYC. I call NYC my Sleeper Trip b/c I went in not expecting that much.My DD17 had never visited NYC and we decided 3months prior to go for it. WE all ended up loving it! As much as I loved the So Cal I couldn't see doing it again...but I could NYC

Our US ones have been San Fran, NYC and Winter in Wyoming. We enjoyed all 3 but we would do NYC or Winter in Wyoming again. Loved them both!

I live in Brooklyn & work in midtown Manhattan so it really makes no sense for me to do the NYC ABD. But I'd love a tour of the New Amsterdam theater and ABD is probably one of very few ways to get behind the scenes there. The tenement museum experience & private dinner sounds amazing too.

How was the walking tour of Harlem? That part sounds pretty cheesy to me, probably because I lived in Harlem for 2 years and can't imagine walking around there as part of a tour group with a guy who calls himself "Mr. Harlem."
