This is our first trip back after several years of non Disney vacations. I am looking for ideas of different things to do. We will do all the "park" things. But am considering the KTTK tour. Also looking for some other ideas. I thought once I read something about some kind of show at Port Orleans. Or at the restaurant there but I can't find it right now. Anyone know what this might be? Any other ideas of shows, etc. to do

KTTK is a great tour. Yehaa Bob usually plays at Port Orleans Riverside. Shows usually start 8:30 and run until after 11.

A couple of DAK tours that are interesting are the Backstage Tales about caring for the animals and the Wild Africa Trek. The latter is a bit pricey.

I have not done the DestiNations discovered tour of the Epcot pavilions, but I am considering it for a future trip.

I went on the Wonders of the Lodge tour at Wilderness Lodge when we stayed there a few years ago. I think it is offered Wed-Sat at 9 am and it takes about an hour and it is FREE. I was the only one in our party that went, but there were about 20 people on the tour. It was interesting to me and I plan to do it again on the next trip on our "off" day.

Well Piano Bob at POR is great get there early. We always like to go explore a resort last time was four seasons at golden oak. Also love the surry bikes at the resorts.

The show at Port Orleans Riverside is only Wed through Sat evenings, and check the schedule first, because occasionally he is out of town.

Behind the Seeds tour in Epcot-The Land is not expensive and fun. KTKT is AWESOME!!!!!! Lots of standing and walking though so be prepared for that.
You can tour the restaurants at AKL prior to service I think it's like 4 pm. Fun and you get to taste stuff for free!!
I've received scavenger hunt games at the front desk as well and you wouldn't think two 40 something adults would have fun with them but we sure did so ask at your hotel front desk if they have any of these type games.
There is lots of "free" entertainment in Disney Springs now starting around 6/7 pm each night. It's a great way to stroll the night away there.
At the Poly they have a tiki lighting ceremony in the evening and they give hula lessons too. You can check with their front desk for times.
Usually some kind of free concert at the Grand Floridian at night. I've been there when the orchestra was playing and guest were dancing in the lobby. It was really cool to sit and watch.
Take an animation class at AoA resort.
Go for a canoe ride at Fort Wilderness campground. Nominal fee but lots of fun. Takes about an hour or so.
See Chip & Dale for a campfire sing along at Fort Wilderness Campground. Free.
Take a wagon ride (Not Carriage ride as they have both) at Fort Wilderness Campground. Nominal fee and it's fun. Meets in front of the HDR around dusk takes about an hour.

Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise is a great way to spend an evening - we do it every trip!

And Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue out at Fort Wilderness is an excellent dinner show. Poly has a dinner show, too.

Just riding all the boats is great fun - we try to ride every route at least one direction on every trip! :) If you go to POR to see Yee Haw Bob, you can catch the boat from Disney Springs and float down the Sassagoula River to POR!

A great unusual thing to do is to reserve a whole day for Disney Springs including a quick visit to every store and some quick stops at food locations for snacks, drinks, candy and of course full meals. You can also finish the day going to Bowling, watching a movie, attending to La Nouba or some House of Blues concert! Make your way back to the start using the boats transportations, it's really beautiful at night and peaceful :)

Grab an Uber and walk around the town of Celebration...Disney's planned housing community. Very pretty.

Eat at Columbia House. Wonderful food. Pretty pottery.

Watch other people's character meet and greets, especially the ones with the rowdier characters, like Gaston! It is always entertaining. Add in a mickey pretzel or dole whip and you have yourself a semi-free, entertaining way to take a break during the middle of the day.
