I go solo frequently and have had mostly positive experiences.
Monsieur Paul: Its pricey but the food and service were excellent. They gave me a window table and I speak quite a bit of French and my server asked me to speak French the entire time (which I was nervous to do but the order came out just right and I felt like I was in Paris!)
If you like characters, I had a very positive experience at akershus. The manager asked me if I had met all the characters before I was given the check, and I had not met Cinderella (wasn't going to make a fuss as I had crt later in the week with mom for her bday) but they brought her back out in a mostly empty restaurant for me to meet her and then brought me the check. The service and character interaction was phenomenal and I loved the breakfast.
I also did bog dinner and lunch solo and they were fabulous (preferred dinner as I didn't have to scout for a table and I got to have wine!)
Those are my three faves as a solo diner, but I can't say I've had a bad experience going solo in the Disney ts restaurants
