Favorite TS to Start Your Vacation

We usually drive up around 2pm and go to DTD for shopping and dinner at Fultons!

It's been a tradition to do Chef Mickey's as our first meal at Disney. This June will be our fourth time going as a family, and we've done Chef Mickey's all four times.

We don't have one-I am trying to remember the last few trips:
1-Teppan edo
2-marakesh:sick:
3-???
4-Ohana
5-TBD

We ALWAYS (ever since our first trip in '93) start at Tony's in the MK. Back in '93 they served an AMAZING breakfast but now we go for lunch and request to sit in the patio room. It's usually quite peaceful at lunch time and is a nice way to start the trip watching all of the other people entering MK and the characters walking around and performers. :goodvibes

Our first snack is always a cinnamon roll at MK bakery, eaten at the yellow umbrella tables in front of the Plaza. I'm actually smiling just thinking about it :). All of us, relaxing in the warm Florida sunshine knowing we have many days of vacation left and talking.

We wanted Chef Mickey but it was booked so we did 1900 Park Fare. The trip was my 3.5 year old grand daughter's 1st visit and she LOVES the princesses so it was a wonderful start to the trip for her.

We always stay at an Epcot resort (BWI/YC/BC) and we always take an early flight. We arrive, check-in and go for lunch at ESPN on the Boardwalk. Many times we are there right as it is opening up.

Our first dinner is always Yachtsman Steakhouse. We have done these two meals on every yearly trip since 2003!

That would be Boma for us...our arrival night dinner when we stay at AKL....nothing like sitting down to their mouthwatering soups to begin a vacation at Disney!

Definately Tony's in MK. We arrive late afternoon since we drive, and Tony's, Spectomagic, and Wishes makes a great first evening before bed!

We drive to Disney so its hard to estimate what time we will arrive afternoon/evening so we always start off with Beaches and Cream for dinner, I have to make sure I get my No Way Jose fix:cloud9:

Our first park has always been Epcot and for the past 4 trips our first meal is Le Cellier. Now it just wouldn't feel right is we didn't eat there for our first dinner. Our first meal is lunch at whatever resort we're staying at but that's before we hit the parks. (so we don't count that one:laughing:)

Crystal Palace for us. We live about 2 hours away so we get up around 4 A.M., get showered and dressed, then head out around 5. Check into our resort around 7, and get to CP by 8:05 for breakfast. It's the best way to start our trip and really get us into the whole Disney spirit, who can resist a great big hug from Pooh?

We usually land at around 9:30 AM so for lunch on the first day we like to go to Cosmic Ray's and for dinner we like Garden Grill. We like to begin our trip and cap off our trip with character meals and my girlfriend and I find that Garden Grill is the most relaxing of the character meals but has some of the best character interaction (even though the food is nothing special).

San Angel Inn. It was the first Disney restaurant me and my boyfriend ever went to, so for our last two trips, that's where we've gone.

We won't be doing it this year, but I still want to!
