Do you have a favorite TS dinner to kick off your vacation in WDW? My family is getting ready to book our ADRs and I am interested to see if other people have a favorite. :)

Teppan Edo.
August 18th we will be celebrating our "Kick Off Our Disney Vacation" meal there. :goodvibes

With the Kids we chose Chef Mickeys, just DH & I Kona, GF Cafe or something quick at DTD like Pucks express or Earl's

My missus always insists on Magic Kingdom being the first park and so, we always start our first full day with an early breakfast reservation at Crystal Palace. This year is no exception and we will be there at 8:05 on the first day of our holiday.

We drive down, so we get into Disney late in the afternoon. Last time (our first trip) we ate at 1900 Park Fare because I couldnt think of a better way to kick off our trip for our daughters. They both loved it, so I booked it again for our first night for this coming trip as well!

We drive down, so we always arrive around 3pm. We like to check into the room, get settled, and head to DTD. DH and the kids like to eat at the Rainforest and then just ramble around a bit before heading back to the hotel.

We always make sure we have a "Disney breakfast" the first morning, though. We love Ohana, Chef Mickeys, Cape May, and Tusker House.

Since our first afternoon is usually spent at the Studios (to get it out of the way), we usually start off at Mama Melrose. If we start at the MK, it is definitely Crystal Palace for an 8:05 ADR with Pooh and friends.

First dinner at Ohana. First breakfast at Chef Mickeys.

We have three restaurant that we like to rotate around.. Chef Mickey's, Boma and 'Ohana. This past year we started off with 'Ohana and it was wonderful! Such a great way to start off our trip. :thumbsup2

We are getting there in the evening on our first day so we are having breakfast at Chef Mickeys the next day. I picked it for the characters to get the kids excited!

We always arrive later afternoon; too late to go to a park. We generally do Boma for our first dinner.

When we are there in a few weeks we opted not to do a TS the first night we are there. However, when we are back there in September, I am going to try to get Cali Grill for our first night, this is our favorite Signature Restaurant, then adding the fireworks, will make for a great kick-off to a wonderfully planned vacation.

O'Hana!! It was so delicious and the atmosphere just set the mood for a great trip! and it was!!!
