No kids this trip. I must say first I get motion sickness very easy. What are some things we can do at the parks? Thanks.

Dh and I went to IOA without our daughter on our last trip for a few hours in the evening. We ate dinner at Mythos which I consider a must do. We loved the Jurassic Ride and Spiderman, but that ride does have a lot of motion. I know we would have enjoyed the Universal side as well.

First of all, I too get ridiculous motion sickness, but I take a Dramamine (one pill in the morning, works all day!!) and it works great!

Second of all, no kids - enjoy the thrill rides that may be too intense for kids, go to City Walk and go to Pat O'Briens for the Piano Bar, enjoy Happy hour in the parks, stroll around the lake at night.

Take your time....it's the best thing about USO/IOA - you can do it easily, and still get the most out of the parks!

I totally agree with the Pat O'Briens suggestion. My wife and I had a really fun time there, listening to the dueling pianos. If you decide to give it a try, get there early so that you can sit at a table. In the late evening, it becomes standing room only.
