Favorite thing to do at Disney World?

Grabbing a few pints at the Rose and Crown and hanging around the UK Pavilion.

Ride Soarin as many times as possible, shop in the Japan pavillion, ride Big Thunder as many times as possible and buy Christmas ornaments :)

Driving under the welcome sign and seeing everything being so well taken care of and manicured for our entire vacation and knowing we will be here for ten days with no worries. I hate leaving and seeing the outside world after a week on property.

Ride the free buses and boats...no really I'm serious. I love the buses and boats.

It means I'm on vacation and heading towards dinner, a park, or entertainment/shopping.

I once did a whole evening of just riding around on the free transport, to different parks and resorts.

Sometimes I get a snack and just ride around the monorail and relax.

And yeah, I love the People Mover and the Trains for the same reason.

Anytime I can carve out quiet time... like having a pre-opening ADR at CRT and sitting in Fantasy Land watching ducks sleep, or an early tour at EPCOT and walking around SE with no one else in the park. The parks become so private and personal. Also, being in any park after dark.

Well my favorite thing about Disney is being in the bubble with my wife and our 2 daughters...

As far as being more "Disney" specific
Main Street
Tower of Terror
Boat ride from POR to Disney Springs to get a chocolate milk shake at Ghiradelli's

It's been 17 years since I was there last, and I still remember the experience of leaving the WDW property. We had arrived after dark, so we didn't really notice the big difference when we headed in. But we left in the daylight, and the moment the MEARS van left WDW property as we headed to the airport, I noticed how drab and grungy everything looked. It was like someone had pulled the plug on the magic. SO depressing!

After so long away, I'm not sure what my favorite thing will be. The thing I'm most looking forward to is the fireworks...especially the Symphony in the Stars.

Epcot: Walking around the World Showcase with a glass of champagne
Holywood Studios: Riding in the first row of RnRC
Animal Kingdom: Riding in the first row of EE
Magic Kingdom: Walking up main street and heading toward adventure land

Stepping onto the ferry from TTC, with a breeze across the bow, watching the castle come nearer, and leaving all the stresses of regular life slip away behind me.

Soarin'

Watching the Welcome Show at MK after a breezy ride across the lake on the ferry.

Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Philharmagic

A ride on the Safari followed by the Lion King.

Star Tours

Sitting on the Boardwalk eating ice cream watching the people and the boats go by.

An evening stroll around the World Showcase ending with Illuminations.

Pulling into the parking lot at the beginning of the trip. Getting out of the car and smelling Disney air. Trying NOT to run to the check in desk. My insides are just a big mass of bubbling excitement!!!
