I searched, but didn’t find anything recent on favorite shoes for the summer! I’m not a sneaker wearer, but I will probably pack at least one pair. I love rainbow flip flops, but don’t find the leather great for rain and water rides. What are your favorites that offer enough support for all the walking, but maybe are more of a sandal? I wear the double layer rainbows, so they offer a lot of support. The teva oluwahu (or something like that) don’t offer enough support for me. I’ve also tried the sanuks with the yoga mats and didn’t find them supportive enough.

Love my chacos! They offer an amazing amount of support and I like that they have the strap around the heel so I don't need to worry about them like I do with flip flops.

Crocs and Birkenstocks!!! I'm a high school teacher and Crocs are actually cool now!! I get to say I'm a hipster because I wore them before they were cool.:rotfl2:

I'm looking for suggestions too. My favorite vacation shoes were Sketchers sandals, but mine are in pretty bad shape now and they don't make them anymore.

I have worn various colors of Sketcher Reggae Rasta sandels for the past 7 years every time we go. The support is amazing and I have high arches. My feet are never tired and they look really cute!

I’m going to alternate between birkenstocks and keens (probably the keen flip flops, which still have a lot of support).

For those with crocs what style do you recommend

I wear heavy-duty, waterproof Tevas sandals. They give my feet full support, and are not problematic when wet.

My sister swears by Chacos, but I cannot deal with their footbed. We all have some version of Keen sandals. Dh and the boys like the Newport H2 and my favorites are the Whisper style. Lots of support, dries fast (if you get the non-leather versions), and cute colors. They aren't particularly cute, but they are comfy and they work.

I wear my Chacos Hipthongs (they discontinued the ones I wear, but I still have 2 pairs). They have awesome arch support, and most importantly, they are waterproof!
