We will be using the dining plan in January. Would like to use 2 table service for a Signature meal. Last time we used to for Backyard Barbeque - waste! What would you recommend? Is CRT worth it? We have never eaten there. Or would you do Narcoossee's? Any other recommendations? What is best table service in MGM? We did SciFi - not impressed with food. Thanks for input!

In MGM, I like Brown Derby the best food wise. Atmosphere wise and not bad food is 50's prime time, but not 2 ts. Although, not my favorite in all of WDW. The best I have had is California Grille in Contemporary.

In Epcot, I love LeCellier. CRT is over rated food wise.

I have heard great things about Narcossee's but I have not eaten there.

I would personally vote for Artist Point...one of our WDW favorites. Personally, I don't think any restaurant is worth using 2 TS credits, and would pay out of pocket...I think when you cost it out it is a much better value. If you are prepared to use 2 credits of course, Artist Point is a wonderful meal.

mgm--Brown Derby; we really enjoy dining here.
Artist Point
Jiko
AP and Jiko are actually tied. those are 2 we try to do; alternating on trips.
are we there yet?

I don't do the Dining Plan so am not sure whether these or 2 credits or 1 credits, but for me these are worth a splurge out of pocket.

Not in any particular order.

1. Citrocoe's
2. Jiko's
3. Brown Derby
4. California Grill
5. Flying Fish

I judge a restaurant first by its food and then by service, but if service is repeatedly bad I will write it off.

Also note Brown Derby is the only in-park restaurant that I consider a "splurge" restaurant (Although I haven't tried the Bistro in many years) I like some of the other Epcot restaurants (and in fact eat at least once in one of them on each trip) but they don't match with the five I listed above.

California Grill is my all-time favorite. Dh lists Boma as his fav. Older ds loves, loves, loves Kona Cafe (for all meals).

We just dined at California Grill on Tuesday for the first time and it was fantastic. The food was wonderful and the view, perfect. I had heard so much about the Pork Tenderlion so I tried it and it melted in my mouth, delicious!!! We will now have to make it a tradition for every trip!!! :goodvibes

I vote for California Grill. That is where we will dine our last evening in the World this trip. It's a wonderful meal, and seeing Wishes from the balcony just makes it that much more Magical.

That said, I have also heard good things about Narcoosee's (from my in-laws) and DSis and her husband love Artist Point and Jiko. We are planning to dine at Artist Point during our upcoming trip.

My children love Brown Derby...we usually go there for the Fantasmic dining package...but our last time, the adults were disappointed. The first time I went there, I liked it a lot. However, I would not put the restaurant in the same class as California Grill. If I had to pick just one splurge restaurant, Brown Derby would not be it.

Oh, and don't splurge on CRT...at least don't go there for the food. The food is terrible.

Thanks for all the great input! I booked our reservations. All dinners: O'Hana, Boma, Le Cellier, Liberty Tree Tavern, Le Chefs de France, Mama Melrose's (Fantasmic package). I decided not to use 2 TS. So what do you think of these choices. I am now kind of torn - should we do Liberty Tree for lunch or dinner? :confused3

I vote for Narcoossees. Almond crusted cheesecake with wild cherry sauce...YUM! Oh, and the lobster was good too!
