We are on a tight budget for our trip. We are doing Counter Service Dining Planning, so we have two snacks a day. What are your favorite snacks in each park, that you can put in a ziplock bag and have the fallowing morning?

I have read a lot about MK bakery Cinnamon Rolls. How about Epcot, Studios, AK, even TL and BB(if they have anything yummy) Even a resort close to one of the parks, would be fine too. :)

we usually have breakfast @ the hotel or a TS, but I assume lots of places would have
Chocolate Chocolate chip muffins
bagels
and I LOVE cheese danishes, I am pretty sure they are a snack credit, but I wouldn't put one in a ziplock bag and carry it around all day, eat it right then and there lol. :goodvibes

Epcot: Boulangerie Patisserie (France Bakery) pithivier (dense roll/almond pastry.) Hubby likes the apple turnovers there. Also Kringla Bakeri (Norway), we like both school bread and the sweet almond soft pretzel.
DHS: Starring Rolls- lots of muffin choices; also Writer's Stop has many bakery treats for a snack credit. Love the carrot cake cookie, but it's filled with cream cheese frosting so need a fridge to keep that overnight. If you're in Future World, check out the bakery counter in Sunshine Seasons/The Land building...there are some yummy choices in there but more dessert-style...which can still be good for breakfast, right?
MK-Main STreet Bakery, in addition to the giant cinnamon rolls, also have giant apple turnovers...very good.
Never found a bakery at AK...seems like the carts have doughnuts & such in the mornings, but we're in a hurry in the a.m.:rotfl:

We've stayed at POFQ & POP -- both had a lot of pastries in the mornings...particularly like the chocolate chip croissant that seems to be available in a lot of places, and we love the 3 piece beignets order at POFQ (but have to get that fresh & eat it hot...does NOT keep overnight. Doesn't even keep much past the time it takes to cool off, lol.) Beach Club, Contemporary and the Poly all had some pastries available in the morning too.

Lefse from Norway in EPCOT - but you need a fridge for overnight storage because it's rolled with butter and sugar.

A lot of places have bagels with cream cheese as a snack credit and some have a single portion cereal with small milk as a snack (at least they used to have that...).

When I went last November, I used a snack credit to get milk & cereal at the hotel most mornings. It's certainly not as exciting as some of the other options, but, on the meal plan, I was eating so much overall that I really appreciated having a simple bowl of Raisin Bran to start off the day.

There is a sticky at the top of the Dining Plan board that lists all confirmed snacks. Lots and lots of choices :thumbsup2

IF we dont eat the poptarts I pack along for that morning (frees up space for souvenirs when they are gone) we enjoy school bread or something from Norway that I snagged on the way back to the resort.

Pastries from both the bakery in France and Norway in Epcot, and pastries from Main Street Bakery in MK. Perfection!;)

Blueberry muffins. My absolute favorites are at BW Bakery, but they're not much different at MS Bakery, BC Marketplace, or Mara. Carrot Cake cookies from the Writer's Stop are yummy at breakfast too.

Funnel cake from the MK.
I also love a soft pretzel, DS loves the sweet ones from Norway.
Way too often I have a dessert or 2 from the day before that I was too full to eat.

Thank you everyone. It all sounds yummy. Making me hungry. :rotfl: Its nice to know what you all like, you never know. Things look good but one bit your like no thank you. lol So its good to know whats good. :)

I'm not a big fan of sweets or mornings, but I'll wake up happy if DH brings me a serving of biscuits and gravy for breakfast! They can be gotten as a hot snack at most resort quick serve restaurants. :)
