any suggestions besides the usual popcorn??? preferably from a vendor or counter service as we already have ps's at sci-fi and brown derby and don't want to waste any more time at a sit down. thanks!! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

I like the stuffed pretzels at a little place on that lake in the middle.
My daughter likes McDonald's fries from Fairfax Fries
My other daughter likes the flavored ice cream by RnR.
My husband likes whatever's left over :rotfl2:

I love Mickey bars and Mickey rice krispee treats....there's always lots of neat goodies to choose from at Starring Rolls Bakery too.....I'm looking forward to trying one of the stuffed pretzels on our trip in June :)

I like to stop at the little "writer's hut" (can't find the name on the map). I think it used to be called Ellen's or something. They sell books, but also frozen coffees and slushes and really great cookies and pastries. Very good stop for a treat.

We also typically go to the Villain's store (to the candy end) and get a slushee and those huge rice krispy treats with chocolate right before Fantasmic.

Dino Gertie's is also another choice for ice cream and slushes. :flower:

We second the caramel apples. It was a great treat to have while watching one of the street performers!!

I have PS at Sci Fi and Mamma Melrose's, but would love to try a piece of the Brown Derby's Grapefruit Cake. I heard one of the fast food places at MGM also had it. Is that true and is it as good as the Brown Derby's? Would you be able to carry it into Fantasmic and eat it while waiting for the show?

We also like the fresh fruit. I am a pineapple lover and had the pineapple at MGM. It was good, but most things taste better since you are at WDW. The name of the stand is Anaheim Produce. It is among other fast food eateries by Rock 'n Roller Coaster across from the entrance to Fantasmic. :disrocks:

I once had a delicious egg roll from a stand (cart-style) that was just outside the exit of "The Great Movie Ride". I tried to find it last Thanksgiving, but had no luck.

The huge chocolate covered strawberries from the Villain candy store and ice cream from dinosaur gerties are yummy!

The PB&J shakes from Prime Time are to die for. I realize this isn't a sit down, but I don't see why you couldn't order one to go or sit in the lounge there and have one.

Also -- I believe you can ask for a slice of the Brown Derby grapefruit cake from the Starring Rolls Bakery.

I'm a fan of the churros at Studio Catering Co. Yummy, all covered in cinnimon!
