Oh my gosh, where to start?
We love lobster and crab stuffed mushrooms (they changed the name, I think it's crab and seafood stuff mushrooms now) from Red Lobster. BTW, hubby eats all our mushrooms. I just can't eat a fungus!
We love lobster in general and have it a few times a year here at home.
We love crab cakes and I've been working on a recipe that I finally got down pat. We've had 20 crab cakes (just hubby and I - kids won't eat em, LOL) in the past 2 weeks.
We love snow crab legs. Hubby loves king crab, but they're too sweet for me and the kids. Hubby also has to eat our pincher claws in the snow crab because it's too sweet for the rest of us.
I grew up LOVING blue crab, but I visited my bro a few years back and he bought a bushel and I had a tough time eating them. I'd been away from them for around 20 years, and it was just difficult for me to get passed the appearances. I am thinking about ordering a bushel from an online source of #1 Jimmies (between 5 and 6 dozen) for my hubby for Father's Day. He's never had blue crab and I think he'd love it.
We love shrimp, regardless of how it's prepared. We like grilled, BBQ, scampi, in an alfredo sauce over Fettucini, shrimp cocktails, and fried, though fried is always our last choice.
Hubby and kids like oysters, but to be honest, I've never tried them.
We all like clam strips, but I've never had them fresh either steamed or raw. The same for mussels.
I like fish from Icelandic waters. I can't eat Tilapia because I worked in a restaurant and found they eat their own waste when raised on farms. Once this information became available, the restaurant I worked in refused to serve it. It may not be true of all Tilapia, but it's all I can think of when I hear the name though.
I'm probably forgetting lots, but this is all I can think of right now.
Oh, hubby loves scallops, but I never cared much for them. I've also never tried calamari, but I would love to sometime.
