Hi all

Alas, my Teva Circuits have seen better days and I need to get a new pair soon for our upcoming trip end of april.

What are your favorite sandals and are there any good deals out there?

Thanks again

I am glad that you asked this question because I was looking for a pair myself. I am interested in what people have to say. What do you think abut your Teva's? I have heard good things about them, but they are rather expensive aren't they?

Everyone has RAVED about the TEVA'S on this board. I really didn't like mine, but I loved some of the Nike sandals. Best advice...for me it is simply trail and error! Good Luck!!

I own 3 pairs of Teva sandals that I love!
However when I went to buy a new pair, they have some new styles and I couldn't find ones I like.

I went to the Walking Company Store at my local mall, and found a pair of Ecco sandals that are just as wonderful! :)

I've been wearing them for the last week and they feel great!

They have a lot of good shoes at the Walking Co.

Enjoy Shoe shopping!

Teva sandals just didn't do it for me. I just couldn't get ones to fit my foot properly. I also didn't find that they provided sufficient arch support for all the walking and standing that you do in the parks. I got a pair of Nike Straprunners last spring, and I LIVED in them all last summer when I spent 3-4 afternoons/evenings per week at Epcot.

We wear birkenstocks, I take 2-3 pairs and nothing else. I never have sore feet or blisters. You can buy some at Sams Clubs for under $40 a pair.

I love my Teva's for the parks. The current pair I have are 3 1/2 years old and still going strong. The pair before my current pair were 7 years old before I had to let them go and they saw some MAJOR wear. Always comfortable and sturdy. Love em! :)

Can't wear sandals in the park, so I wear New Balance Shoes.

Another Birkenstock fan here - but make sure they're "broken in". There is nothing more painful than brreaking in a new pair of birkies IF you've never worn them before!

I have three different pairs of Tevas that I love to death!! Each one is slightly differen... and I will say not all Tevas are the same!!!! some fit me much better than others and two pairs have excellent arch support while one does not. I wouldn't buy anything else. Of course considering I have had four pairs over the last 10-12 years and that three are still "in comission" that I won't be needing to buy any for quite some time!

My sister likes the Nike sandal and I know several who wear Birks that they love... and a few for Ecco too. For me though, I will probably alway stick to my Tevas

After reading all the recommendations on this site, I have bought myself a pair of Teva's.

Is there anywhere on International Drive that sells Teva or similar for the rest of my family when we arrive?

another nike straprunner fan! and they can double as water shoes, so you can save room in your suitcase. :teeth:

DH and I both love our Nike Straprunners. They are really comfortable and completely waterproof. They are fantastic when it rains!! We even wore ours into the pool!! They dry very fast. We're going back to Orlando in August, and the Straprunners are the only shoes we plan to bring with us.

I have a pair of Tevas. I wore them all summer and then went on vacation with them. Even though they were worn in, they let me down. Ended up switching to my sneakers for that trip. And I really loved those Teva's.
Now I have Nike Straprunners. They are wonderful. They didn't let me down on my last vacation. I can wear them anyplace and everyplace. I'm in love again.

straprunners here too! Both my mom and I wore them in Oct the whole trip. They were great for Kali and the pool. I got the hint for them from this board and I can't say enough for them. Now if I could just get them in kids sizes.

Another vote for Nike Straprunners. DH, DD DS and I love them!!!!!

I have two pairs of Teva's and I love them both. The only other sandal that I like, that gives decent support are a pair of suede-type slides I bought from Land's End. They come in a ton of colors and they are only $24.50. I bought a pair last summer and plan to buy another this year.

My Teva's gave me blisters, but I love my Nike Straprunners.
