Favorite Ride in Disneyland

I'm sure this post has been done before. But what's your favorite ride in Disneyland- something they don't have at the WDW?

I've never been to WDW so I can't speak to that, but favorite is Space Mountain. I have heard others say that the DLR version is better than the WDW one, but I couldn't say that based on my own experience. I just know what I like at DLR.

I've never been to Disney World either, but my favorite ride has always been Pirates of the Caribbean.

Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, POTC at DL blows the pants off the one at WDW, SM at DL also blows the pants off the one at WDW. So in theory, they don't have those last 2 rides at WDW, because they are really different at DL.

I have never been to WDW either.

In DL, my favorites rides are: POTC, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Buzz Lightyear, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin.

In DCA, my favorites are Toy Story Midway Mania, Soarin' and Monsters Inc.

Indiana Jones is one of the first rides that comes to mind, even if it does have the same track as Dinosaur.

My favorite ride is Storybookland Canal Boats, which they don't have in WDW. It seems to lame, but I am obsessed with the miniatures!

I also love Indy (so much better than Dinosaur) and Haunted Mansion Holiday (WDW really misses out not getting the layover).

As was said, POTC and Space Mountain are tons better in DL.

My favorite is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I have been to WDW, but didn't see a big difference between the two. We just love the thrill!

Pirates is probably my favorite, but a close second is any ride in Fantasyland. I just love the nostalgic feeling I get when I am there.

I love the FantasyLand rides unique to Walt's park.

- Matterhorn.
- Alice.
- Mr. Toad.
- Pinocchio.
- Storybookland Canal Ride.
- Casey's.

(& IASW is far prettier than at WDW.... especially during the holidays & i like that the Tea Cups are outdoors).

I like the old school charming castle much more than the yuppiefied McMansion in the swamp too.

I haven't been to WDW since I was 9 months old, so I can't speak from any experience there since I don't know what they have.

But my favorite rides are Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion (and HM Holiday of course!).

Just about every ride that is in common between Disneyland and WDW is better at Disneyland, and this is from a long-time WDW fan who's only been to Disneyland once!

I love Pinocchio's Daring Journey. I love WDW but I feel Fantasyland at DL is more magical because of Pinocchio,Mr. toad, and Alice. I also love Indy, no matter how may times I ride I see something new.
