Favorite Restaurant for Children

When traveling to Disney with children, ours are ages 5 and 11, what is your number one favorite place for a table service meal?

Crystal Palace for breakfast
Yak & Yeti

They tend to choose places for the food, rather than for the theme, atmosphere, or characters.

'Ohana b'fast
Crystal Palace
Garden Grill

Maybe odd choices for kids, but my kids love Raglan Road especially when there is live music and the Rose and Crown Pub where they can overlook the water and Illuminations if you time it just right. They also like T-Rex, Chef Mickey's for breakfast, and the Crystal Palace for breakfast or lunch.

With my 5 y/o nephew we did a TS meal every night for a week and by far, his favorite was T-Rex!!!!!

My kids love HDDR (more for the show than the food) and Sci-Fi (more for the shakes and atmosphere than food) So to my kids it is all about the entertainment and not the food!

Oh wow. I couldn't pick just one. I can tell you which ones my kids continue to talk about, though...

Biergarten at Epcot
Teppan Edo at Epcot (HUGE hit with the entire family)
Sci Fi (Lunch) at DHS
'Ohana at Polynesian

In terms of a character meal, I think it was a close call between Cape May Cafe and Crystal Palace, with CP maybe coming in ahead by a hair.

I just asked my son (he has gone 4x) to pick one favorite. He said he can't pick one but he can tell you his favorite. Tusker House Breakfast, CP lunch, CM, CRT and Hollywood ad Vine breakfast. I know out of all he eats the full plate in Tusker House, CP and Hollywood and Vine. CM and CRT he likes b/c of the character and the place itself.

Biergarten

Biergarten is Dds 2nd favorite to Sci Fi right now. She loved the food and being able to go out and dance.

DD eats whatever we get for her, so I chose these for the experience, not the food!

1. 1900 PF at GF---dinner
2. H&V at DHS---breakfast

Anytime she was able to be in the parades or dance with a princess, she was extra happy!

I asked my 6-year-old (he's been around 23 or so times) but he couldn't pick just one. Some favorites: 'ohana, chef's de france (ratatoulle fan), chef mickey's, artist point, trail's end, sanaa, ca. grill (sushi fan), tokyo dining.

We all LOVED 'Ohana and Garden Grill - my kids loved Chef Mickey's but not us adults.

Located in Downtown Disney. You will need to go past the Lego store and you should walk right into it!

My son's favourite restaurnat at WDW is Sci-fi. He absolutely loved sitting in the cars.
