What is your favorite resort restaurant? I will be in Florida May 1st - 5th with my DH and another adult couple and we'd like to do a nice dinner for DH's 40th birthday at one of the WDW resorts (since the other couple doesn't have park passes).

Thanks for any suggestions!:goodvibes

edited to add: DTD area can also be included!

CG is a good idea; Narcoosee's (GF) would also give you a nice view of the fireworks if you time it right. Artist Point (WP) or Jiko (AKL) would also be very nice, have good wine lists, etc. Check the menus, see what you think would have the most appeal. FWIW.

Jiko is fabulous...

if money is no object Victoria and Alberts is impossible to beat

My wife and I have never had a bad meal at the Flying Fish.

Flying Fish Cafe is wonderful. The California Grill is great also! Citricos is really good too, quieter than the other too. Depends on what kind of atmosphere you are looking for. Have a wonderful time!:)

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I'm going to go look at the menus now! :thumbsup2

Citricos vote here. And if you opt for Downtown Disney, we LOVE Wolfgang Puck Cafe (we've never been upstairs).

The Flying Fish is the one resort restaurant I never miss, even if the trip is a short one. And I am not a big seafood lover. I have tried things there (like skate) that I would never think of ordering anywhere else. Ask for Chris as your server.

They also have one of the best steaks on Disney property!:thumbsup2

Having eaten at all of the places mentioned except GC the food in all of those places excellent!! Sorry, not Ohana though. Although the Yachtsman isn't mentioned that too has excellent food, so my choice?

Narcoosee's. Why? It is unique. There isn't another restaurant in the world that sits on Seven Seas Lagoon. I quarantee that it will memorable. Particularly if you time the fireworks. I've always loved my meals there.

Flying Fish or Big River Grille are nice because they are on the Boardwalk...That is a great place for adults to spend an evening without going to a park...

There is a really fun bar there called Jelly Rolls... The place is tons of fun... They have two guys playing on the piano and singing your requests....

You can also get a birthday cake at Boardwalk Bakery and eat it outside at one of the tables on the boardwalk.

You guys can also rent those bikes for four and go around the resort area... That is lots of fun!

Across from the Boardwalk is the Yacht and Beach Club... They have the Cape May Cafe... Nice if you like seafood... It is a short walk across the Boardwalk.
