DH and I may take a short trip to Orlando in January, but not to Disney :scared1: !!

Anyway, if I can talk him into it, I'd like to get him to do dinner at one of the Disney resorts so I can get my fix.

What are your favorites? We've done 'Ohana and WCC so we'd like something different this time!

I would head to Boma. Since you've already been to the WL I would head to AKL. That's a beautiful lobby and terrace you can enjoy.

Hard to beat California Grille at the Contemporary Resort. And the view of the Magic Kingdom would sure add to your fix!

Boma: breakfast was good, but dinner was AWESOME!
Jiko: Very yummy, but my kids wouldn't have appreciated it
Artist Point: So far, my absoute fav. WDW restaurant!

Hope that helps!

We've don Character b'fast at Chef Mickey's (not good food, IMO) and 'Ohana (pretty good, wouldn't go again unless we wanted to see Stitch)

1. Kona at the Poly for breakfast, lunch and dinner

2. Cape May for breakfast

3. Yachtsman for dinner

Boma or Jiko. They both have great food and great atmosphere.
Just depends if you want more upscale dining or a buffet.
either one would be my pick:)

California Grille - might be a good choice since you won't be going to the parks, at least you get to see MK while you are at dinner

BOMA or JIKO at AKL. The hotel is so far from everything that it's sometimes hard to get over there on a WDW trip just to eat so it would be nice to go there and not worry about how much time it's taking. Plus the food at both places is amazing and unique.

I'd say Artist Point if you're looking for something romantical. (Romantical is a word, right? ) If you're looking for something casual and you like seafood I'd say Cape May's clambake. If you don't particularly like seafood but are looking to try new tastes I'd say Boma. If neither of those apply I'd say Spoodles. (Because although I've never been, everybody here RAVES about it and I'm really excited to try it the next time I'm at Disney.)

My choice would be Artist Point, but you've already eaten at WL. I also think choosing one of the AKL restaurants is a good option, since it can be a pain to get to when staying onsite.

That said, I have a different suggestion than those given so far. IMHO, the best place to get a Disney fix w/o needing park tickets is DTD, followed by the Boardwalk. I'd probably choose Raglan Road or HOB. After dinner, browse the DTD shops & soak in the Disney atmosphere. If you don't like DTD, there's plenty of restaurants on the Boardwalk you could choose as well.

Grand Floridian Cafe
Yachtsmen

Those two are my favorite. Both provide the "Disney" feel to them. At GFC you can take a minute to walk around the resort, maybe ride the monerail. You can catch the electric water pageant from the beach.

Yachtsmen is a great resteraunt! Afterwords you can spend time strolling along the Bordwalk and checking out the other resorts in the area.

Have fun!

1. KIMONOS at the swan!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a lounge but it is WONDERFUL

California Grill
Artist Point

Jiko! Great food, atsmosphere and location. AKL has a storytelling in the evening that would be perfect before or after dinner.
