I like the DVC resorts - BWV, BCV, SSR or VWL - now I do love OKW - but not for singles...

I like to stay in the studio - Okw has 2 queen beds in their studios, the others have a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa.... which makes it nice to watch TV or just enjoy the scenry.

what resort is your favorite for your solo trips?

I would have to say BCV because it's so close to Epcot. My favorite park and easy to wander over and back.

BCV is my favorite solo resort too. We have 310 points, 210 at OKW, then a 100 point add on JUST for my solo trips. DH has never been to BCV. Before we joined DVC, it was a toss-up between POR or (when I wanted to "splurge") AKL.

Absolutely, my favorite one for my solo trips is the BWV. I usually get the one bedroom because I *REALLY* want that whirlpool tub.

Also, at BWV I have the chance to get a less expensive standard view.

My second choice would have to be BCV.

My favorite resort when I'm taking a solo trip to WDW? Has to be Port Orleans, French Quarter. Parking very near room. Taxi stand at back of parking lot in front. Bus service coming and going to the French Quarter first. King bed room overlooking the river. Boat service to Downtown. No noise, very quiet in room. All rooms recently upgraded.

Enjoy.

My favorite for solo trips is the Swan, although I think any of the Epcot area resorts would be great for a solo trip. I love being able to walk to Epcot, the park where I spend most of my time on solo trips. I also really like being able to walk to MGM. Plus, there are a lot of restaurants in that area that are great for solo dining. And it's great when I've had a fun evening at Jellyrolls to be just a short stroll away from my room.
