Villas at the Wilderness Lodge, overwhelming peaceful
The Boardwalk Villas, always something interesting to do and see
Saratoga Springs, can walk over to Downtown Disney In case you get bored with relaxing so much
For me it's simple, it's whatever resort I happen to be at!
Relaxation is in the eye of the beholder! Since DVC, no more commando, relaxation all the way! We don't kill ourselves coming and going, sometimes we don't even go to the parks!
I may be different than most DVC'rs but for me I plan a vacation and my most important objective is to get the time span I want. I work my way down from favorite resort down to whichever one it takes to get in the dates I want! I enjoy them all!
I agree with AKV-Jambo. That's why I'm headed there next week in a Savannah view for some R&R-just to keep the giraffes company.
I'm not sure I agree about OKW-yes, it's relaxing, but hearing and seeing the buses all the time made me want to get on one and go to the parks.
AKV is my favorite so far. Plus if you're planning on not doing parks it's perfect because it's kind of remote from everything else. Real nice pool area and covered parking. You have the benefit of using Jambo amenities also.
Eeks! I'm terrified of those spiders over at VWL! What happened to you? We're you the one who almost ran naked out of the room because the spider in the shower?

Shower? Spider? LOL no... I'll have to do some searching for that story
Let's just say we've nicknamed the enclosed boats (mermaids) as the spider boats for a reason... and well... turns out the small boats are the ones to be leery of, not the big ones Before we finished docking 1/2 the boat was jumping around screaming while the other 1/2 was laughing.
