Favorite Resort for Breakfast

On the morning we leave, we would like to have breakfast at one of the resorts. Oh, we will be there in early Dec. and Christmas decorations would be something that we would like to see as well. And, we are on a budget. I thought about Chef Mickey's, but I would like to see some of the resorts that I have never seen. (All of them!) We are DH, DD2 and myself.
Where would you suggest?

1900 Park Faire in the GF is great. That is probably my favorite.

Also, I've never been myself, but my mother went last year and said the breakfast at AKL was excellent, her favorite in the whole property.

It is really hard to choose, so I will give you are favorites in no particular order:

1) Cape May Cafe - Beach Club - Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale
2) 1900 Park Fare - Grand Floridian - Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and Bert
3) Ohanas - Polyanisian - Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

we really enjoyed our "farewell" breakfast at whispering canyon, reasonable( 10 for the skillet) , good and fun plenty of fun"characters", just not the "disney"
characters if you don't care about eating with them

My family really enjoys breakfast at Concourse Steakhouse at Contemporary, Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.

My favorite breakfast (character) is Cape May.

I have also heard that the breakfast at Boma in AKL is really nice and we will be trying it in Oct.

Spoodles at the Boardwalk is great, and the decorations and chocolate boardwalk is beautiful at the resort.

We love Kona Cafe at the Poly and of course, Tonga Toast!!!!! Thats our decadent Disney treat and a farewell taste till next time.

We always do Cape May - it is a character buffet. They have a really neat Gingerbread Carousel in the lobby for christmas.

Wilderness Lodge is always nicely decorated as is Grand Floridian so you may want to consider those locations.

Since you would like to see the Christmas decorations, we usually take a tour one night after leaving the MK and do the monorail hotels (including WL - take the boat from Contemporary). WL is cozy at night with the fireplace going.

Since you say you are on a budget another option would be to eat the buffet at Fort Wilderness - I have read a lot of good things about this and then you could take the boat to the MK and hop on the monorail and do those hotels or take a boat to WL and see that also.

We are BIG on WDW breakfasts! DH's new favorite is FRESH at the Dolphin. If you eat there you can see the HUGE tree and decorations in the lobby of the Dolphin then you can stroll around the whole Boardwalk taking in the decorations in the lobbies of the Yacht and Beach Club resorts and the Boardwalk Hotel.

We love to go to Trail's End at FW for breakfast. They have country Christmas music playing as you walk in and around Trail's End/Crockett's Tavern. They have charming, country decorations in and around the restaurant and the General Stores. The food is a bargain and your 2 year old would eat at the buffet for free.

Other places we love are Boatwright's and the Concourse Steak House. Whispering Canyon has a nice breakfast and of course you would get to take in the decortions at the WL.

Another vote for Cape May at the Beach Club. We finally ate there two weeks ago. It is now our favorite breakfast. And the characters were terrific!!
