In our trips to WDW, we used the DDP when the kids were young and tried the QS DP once on a trip 2 years ago. I am traveling with my 2 teenagers next week. Paying all meals OOP this time so will be eating primarily QS. I was checking out all the QS menus and realized that we have gotten into a pattern of eating at the same places in the parks every time and wanted to see what I am missing out on. I am looking for recommendations for your favorite park QS meals. Looking forward to trying lots of places/dishes we haven't tried before!

In AK, Flame Tree BBQ. DH and I split the chicken and ribs sampler last time and it was delicious and filling!

EP, I'll say either Sunshine Seasons or Les Halles in France. Sunshine had a great variety to choose from, and the dessert case is to die for. Les Halles also has an amazing pastry selection.

MK - I haven't tried many of them, but we really loved Caseys for a good ol' fashioned chili dog.

Columbia Harbour House is always a must! Plus it's a great break while at MK. Take your food and go upstairs to sit...it's much quieter and you can get a nice table next to the window and watch people go by down below. The cobbler for dessert is awesome!!

Also in Disney Springs we always seem to end up in Earl of Sandwich...so good. And when in Epcot we love Sunshine Season.

I second this! We love Columbia! :thumbsup2

Also the QS Mexican at EPCOT is very good as well. You can sit indoors in the afternoon before LaHacienda opens for dinner which is nice if it's really hot outside!

Agree with the bakery in France and Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, lots of different ideas.
Also the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in UK.
Yak and Yeti quick serve is a different thing in AK. Also some unusual offerings in Harambe market.
If you have the time or desire to head over to POR, they have make your own pasta or salads. Actually all the mods (except CBR) have some different offerings, so the pepper market at CSR could be good.
Of course, Puck Express at DTD.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions! You wouldn't believe how many of these I have never tried. We have eaten at flame tree and the QS in Mexico several times but I agree those are great. Most of the others mentioned would be new to us. Definitely going to try Caseys and Columbia House at MK. Thinking Yak and Yeti QS sounds great too.

My favorite QS restaurants are.

Magic Kingdom
  • Columbia Harbour House- Big fan of the salmon
Epcot
  • Sunshine Seasons - Great variety of options
  • Tangierine Cafe - The Shawarma Platter is better than many TS offerings
Animal Kingdom
  • Harambe Market- A great healthy escape away from all the burgers, hot dogs, pieces parts chicken nuggets, french fries, frozen pizza and cold cut sandwiches that are prevalent at WDW. Some of these items are here, but there are still a ton of healthy and delicious options.
  • Flame Tree BBQ- This is still IMO the best QS in WDW
Hollywood Studios
  • Let me quote a great line from a scene in the movie Donnie Brasco between Johnny Depp and Paul Giamatti
    • Forget about it!
In my opinion there is not a single QS I find worth my time to even eat at. The only possible exceptions are Fairfax Fare, which is OK (some like to compare it to Flame Tree, I think it falls way short) and perhaps Starring Rolls and it's pre-made cold cut sandwiches. Some have said that ABC Commissary is much improved but after being burned 2 times at this place I'm not sure I"m willing to give it a chance to strike me out.

As others have said........Flame Tree BBQ! The best QS at WDW!

Doug :goofy:

Loved Tangierine Cafe. Be our guest lunch. Starring Roles turkey sandwich. POR food court (had a muffaletta at least twice).

Sunshine Seasons in Epcot
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in France at Epcot
Wolfgang Puck Express
Flame Tree BBQ
