Favorite quick service with little children?

What is your favorite quick service restaurant with little children under 7 in Disneyland? We're thinking a late lunch to break up the day and provide a rest opportunity. We will have grandparents with us, so a menu with some healthier options would be nice. Going in October so indoor or outdoor seating is fine. Thanks!

I like Hungry Bear for a few reasons. The food is ok, enough choices most people can be pleased. The sitting area offers covered shaded areas and a view of the Rivers of America. It can feel quite and secluded, a good stop for an afternoon break.

Is Hungry Bear still doing just Sweet Potato Fries or did they go back to regular ones?

Consider French Market, Golden Horseshoe, or Rancho Del Zocalo. The first two have some live entertainment to make waiting for the food easier (maybe not an issue now with mobile ordering). If you like fish and chips, the Golden Horseshoe has some really great ones.

When my kids were younger they often preferred the kids power pack to the other kids meals. It’s a bag with a bunch of snacky type things- apples, goldfish crackers, baby carrots, banana and a yogurt smoothie thing. DD8 still likes it actually. Not every QS has the powerpack but many do.

Another good option might be Jolly Holiday. They have some good adult alternatives to fried stuff and burgers and simple sandwiches for the kids (or we would sometimes get a power pack from Refreshment Corner next door). Also agree with Rancho Del Zocalo.

Plaza inn is great as the portions are large and can be split (chicken meal can do 3 small kids). Also like the pacific warf as the mac and cheese comes in a bread bowl!!!

My kids love Red Rose Tavern for breakfast. They've got the classic Mickey pancakes, potatoes, etc. Personally, I love Jolly Holiday, for the salads, sandwiches, and treats.

They have regular fries (that's what came with my son's sandwich on Thursday) as well as onion rings.

Thirding the Jolly Holiday suggestion! Nice outdoor seating and a variety of options (grilled cheese and rose macaron are to die for).

Hungry Bear is my favorite quick service, but it's honestly so out of the way that I wouldn't go there for lunch, because it sucks up too much time walking there and back. My second go-to places for lunch are Jolly Holiday and Red Rose Tavern, because you can easily eat and hop back onto a ride in Fantasyland or Adventureland. We were just in the park two days ago (Saturday) and ate at Red Rose for lunch around 12:30pm. It gets crowded, so I'd utilize the mobile order service and if you can find a table inside, I always like the ones in the back right, near the exit and Royal Reception gift shop.

Hungry bear is always a winner. My daughter's favorite though, is bengal BBQ. Also outside right by the entrance of Downtown Disney has Le Brea and that has kids pizza and fruit at great prices.

Jolly Holliday is our favorite quick service (and portions are HUGE, so the four of us often just split two meals!). We also really like Plaza Inn (same situation with tons of food).

For location, Hungry Bear absolutely cannot be beat. Our daughter actually fell asleep at the table there one time, it was so chill. Food is just so so, but if you are looking for a little escape from heat and crowds, it's really awesome!

Thanks everyone! I think it confirmed for me Hungry Bear is probably our best option. We are planning to do morning in Fantasyland, have some snacks on hand for the kids in line, and do the afternoon exploring Tom Sawyer Island and seeing SWGE. May do Red Rose if we are still in Fantasyland but it is nice to have options in each area. :-)

Sounds good if you’ll be doing Tom Sawyer next. Our fam prefers French Market, in the same area.
