Favorite Quick service at the parks?

I've probably got several 2nd place winners. But for my #1 counter service meal, it's Pacific Wharf Cafe with the Clam Chowder Breadbowl. That perfect sourdough bread freshly made with Boudin's chowder....hard to beat. Especially if it's a chilly evening.

Lol that's my go to! Except with cream of broccoli... It's the only food I crave in the park besides a dole whip

Taste Pilots/Smokejumpers - Chicken sandwich. It has grilled chicken, cheese, and a delicious chipotle aioli that I get on the side to dip the fries in. So good.

Paradise Garden Grill - their steak kabobs with tatziki sauce is delicious.

Those are my two favorites. I much prefer the food at DCA as opposed to Disneyland.

Fried chicken from the Plaza Inn is my favorite. My DS loves Pizza Port and their spaghetti and meatballs. DH loves Bengal BBQ. My girls love Pacific Wharf Cafe and the bread bowls mentioned above.

Another vote for Pacific Wharf Cafe. Those bread bowls are so good!

Paradise Garden Grill and the Mediterranean steak skewers. YUM. We can usually find something good (not just burgers!) at most CS places in DL.

Question for those that love the bread bowls from Pacific Wharf Cafe...are they the same as the bread bowls and chowder at the Royal St.Veranda (I think that is what it's called?) inside Disneyland? We were planning on getting chowder there, but now I'm wondering if we should get it at Pacific Wharf instead. TIA!

My guess is yes.

My faves are:

Veggie skewer at Bengal BBQ
Caesar salad at French market (everything here good)

Veggie sandwich at award wieners.

I gave up dole whip at dlr because it doesn't melt so fast at menchies at home!!

Rancho...nice food especially the taco trio and lovely environd. Also definitely the Mediterranean skewers at Paradise Garden Grill:sunny:

CA #1 - Bread bowl soup from Pacific Wharf. We change it up, but I typically enjoy the clam chowder and my husband enjoys the corn chowder.

DL #1 - Bengal BBQ safari skewer - bacon wrapped asparagus.

DL - Plaza Inn Fried Chicken dinner

DCA - Lucky Fortune Cookery Thai Coconut Curry Chicken rice bowl and edamame.

The bread is the same. The soup options vary by location. We do enjoy the Café, the bread is delicious. The lines can get long. Sometimes I feel like waiting for food can be as bad as waiting for rides. LOL

We love Rancho! I love the atmosphere of the dining area, especially at night. The food is good and there are a lot of options and they're pretty customizable. The price is also good for what you get. It costs about the same as going out for Mexican food at home, but no free chips and salsa. I think that's pretty decent for theme park food prices. The platters are large enough that adults could share with kids, or two less hungry adults could share together. We usually get burritos, but I've also had the taco salad. It's all yummy.

It stands to reason that the bread might be a bit more fresh at Pacific Wharf because they make it right there. And you can add an extra element to your meal by taking the little tour right before ordering. But if Royal St. Veranda fits your plans better they are basically the same.

That sounds yummy! Where is it located?

Impossible to find good kabobs around here, so will be looking forward to them!

Favorite is tomato basil soup with grilled cheese sandwich at Jolly Holiday especially good in the late evening when it gets a little chilly

wow! yum!!!
