DH and I have a weeks stay coming up in a dvc studio. We have visited the Poly many times and find the lobby hectic, but to be fair most visits are at dinner time. Do you have any favorite spots, both indoor and out to just spend a few minutes in?

In my few stays at Polynesian, we've found the far east end of the beach past the end of Moorea is quiet. The beach in front of Hawaii generally is quiet with the exception of when the Electric Water Pageant and MK fireworks are going on. And not quiet generally but relaxing(due to alcohol and fun atmosphere) the patio of Trader Sam's.

Agree with the others - Oasis pool and the far east end of the beach are great spots. I also find the walkway to the TTC lovely, especially at night. Great quiet walk.

I used to like the far east beach, until the bungalows were built. It's still a good spot, but just looks straight at the bungalows which you may/may not like. These days, the far west beach (between Tuvalo and the Luau on the path to the GF) would be my preferred spot if I really wanted to go someplace quiet.

Thanks everyone! The pictures and maps help. Are there benches to sit? Or do the lounges and swings extend that far down the beach?

I actually like the hustle and bustle of the Poly lobby but if I wanted some quiet time, I would hang out by the Oasis pool or on my balcony if I had a LV studio. Hanging out on the balcony was so relaxing while watching the movement across the water.
