Favorite place to watch the sail away?

I don't enjoy the sail away parties. Wondering where your favorite place is to watch the sail away on the ships. We will have a balcony but with only 2 chairs and 4 people I'm wondering where another good place to go might be. Thanks!

On the classics, the aft deck behind Palo or the forward deck in front of the basketball court. It depends on where we are sailing from - are we looking at the ocean and maybe trying to spot dolphins, or enjoying the cityscape around us?

On the Dream class, Satellite Falls.

On the Fantasy and Dream: Meridian outside. On the Wish: the Rose. On the Magic, it's always been our balcony with a glass of champagne and a slice of pizza.

On the first four ships we prefer the promenade on Deck 4. Quiet, covered, and uncrowded. We don't like the deck parties, and this has always been our favorite place to say goodbye to a port.

No kids here, so we check out the sail away party for a couple minutes just to see it. We then head to the bar (usually the adult pool) and then find a spot away from midship to watch sail away. If you don't have kids or don't care for the hoopla of the sail away party, it's a great way to start your trip.
