If you could eat anywhere in the park where would you go? DH and I are trying to figure out where to go and he mentioned the on place in the Contemporary on the monorail level....I am not sure of the name...

So give me your suggestions and why? Also what is good there.

On my last trip (AUG 2010) my favorite restaurant/meal was at Raglan Road in Downtown Disney.
The food was outstanding, the atmostphere fun and I would do it all over again!!
We had the Free Dining plan so we also got dessert-over the top delicious:thumbsup2

The problem I have with Disney Dining is that I like all of the restaurants that we have gone to, with the exception of a few that we won't be returning to. If I were you, I would look at the different menus for each of the restaurants, and then head over to the food porn thread and check out all the amazing pictures of the different dishes, then read the reviews of the different restaurants that interest you the most. Good luck and have fun planning.

P.S. The restaurant that you were talking about in the Contemporary Resort would have to be Chef Mickey's which is a character meal (one of the restaurants that we won't be returning to), unless it is the Wave which is not on the main concourse level but on the lower level (where you check in), and this is one that we have yet to try.

My family loves the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort. The food and the service has always been excellent. The view is outstanding and we get to walk out on the roof of the Contemporary to watch "Wishes."

I am a Flying Fish girl, all the way! We actually called on a whim to see if we could get a same day booking late in our trip because we enjoyed our planned meal so much and we able to snag it again! This trip, I just went ahead and booked 2 dinners there...its our "must do" x 2!:goodvibes

'Ohana, esp. for the dessert.

I really want to try California Grill, GF Cafe for breakfast, and Kouzzina to name a few.

We enjoy Le Cellier and Chefs de France!!! those are the two we eat at every time we go!!!

Nothing comes close to V&A. The food is better than most restaurants I've eaten anywhere in my travels and the service is beyond good.

My 2nd choice would be bluezoo. It has the best fish and seafood on property. The atmosphere is upscale and adult, the lounge here is excellent with some great choices on adult beverages.

Probably Jiko. I'm pretty sure it's my favorite restaurant on property, but there are days when I might waver between there, California Grill and Flying Fish.

Ohanna - for the food

Chef Mickey's is always our first night meal because ofthe characters - but the food, while fine, doesn't hold a candle to many of the other restaurants.

If it is the QS location at the Contemporary on that level, It would be the Contempo Cafe:thumbsup2

My favorite Table Service Restaurant is the ESPN Club which is located Disney's Boardwalk Inn & Villas.

My favorite Quick Service locations is Earl of Sandwich which is located at Downtown Disney Marketplace and Contempo Cafe which is located at the Contemporary.
