Favorite place to eat?

My favorite is Le Cellier (Epcot; Canada).
My wife's favorite is 50's Prime Time Cafe (Studios).

We usually eat at both of those restaurants twice per visit.

We also eat at the following once each visit:

Wolfgang Puck Cafe (Downtown Disney)
Tony's Town Square (Magic Kingdom)
The Plaza (Magic Kingdom)
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater (Studios)

If I could only pick one place it would have to be Chef Mickey's Breakfast. Not the best food in the world, but where else can you eat with Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, etc. :goodvibes

Cali Grill, Artist Point and Jiko are all amazing.

Tell me your favorite place to eat when you are at Disney? Need some good ideas of where to go. We have never been before and are traveling with two kids ages 9 and 5.

Cyrstal Palace is my favorite:) I love the chracters, but the food is what really makes it for me!

The only restaurant that we have returned to every year since our first dinner there is Boma. It is unique, terrific and a great value compared to the other buffets. Even our finicky 9-yr old loves it. On top of that, the AKL is beautiful to stroll around, the kids will enjoy seeing the animals and mom and dad can have a lovely cocktail in the lobby. If you don't have a car, it's a pain to get back to your hotel, but well worth the cab ride.

Here are a few of our favorites (3 young children):

Resorts
Kona Cafe at the Poly - breakfast - Tonga Toast!! & Macadamia Nut Pancakes
GF Cafe - breakfast - just for the stuffed crossaint (and the easy monorail ride into MK)
Boma - dinner - terrific for its diversity and amount of food available. the dessert tables are especially great.
Sassagoula (at PO-FQ - dessert - french beignet donuts are yummy!

DTD
Cookes of Dublin - the counter service version of Raglan Road (less expensive, same basic food) - lunch/dinner - great fisherman's pie, very decent fish & chips, and fried candy bars for dessert

Boardwalk
Seashore Sweets - desserts - thick, dense cookies (at the back) and an amazing thick brownie under the glass case

Our favorites are:
LeCellier (they have a wonderful kids menu!)
Chef Mickey's (breakfast is better than dinner)
Yak and Yeti
Crystal Palace
The Plaza
Earl of Sandwich
'Ohana's breakfast
Starring Rolls at DHS (excellent pastries for breakfast)
Bakery in Norway at Epcot....schoolbread is awesome! :)
Cosmic Ray's at MK
Fish and Chips Counter Service in England at Epcot....delicious and huge portions!

Have fun! For me, planning is almost as fun at being at WDW! :)

I need some ideas of places for breakfast that aren't character and some ideas for good TS lunches? Thanks

Boma which is a buffet but no characters, Kona Cafe or GRand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. For lunch I would again recommend Kona, The Wave in the Contemporary, The Plaza or LTT (after February) in MK, Biergarten or Le Cellier in Epcot.

A decent lunch TS is easier to find than a characterless breakfast.

How many people make lunch reservation or do you just do a QS for lunch. Is there really enough time to sit down for lunch everyday?

Are you on any of the dining plans?

We usually do the one that includes one CS, one TS and one Snack per person per night.

Since we have one TS per night, we schedule either a breakfast, lunch or dinner each day.

On the days we do breakfast, we eat late (more like brunch), skip lunch and have an early CS dinner.

We like being in the parks late at night, so dinners work well.

If you are on the deluxe plan, you may want to schedule more than one TS per day.

We always assume a TS meal will take us 2 hours (including wait time for our table). Sometimes it takes longer and sometimes it takes less time.

Hope I've helped. :goodvibes
