Tell me your favorite place to eat when you are at Disney? Need some good ideas of where to go. We have never been before and are traveling with two kids ages 9 and 5.

My favorite CS is Wolfgang puck in DTD
My favorite character meal is breakfast at Tusker House in AK
My favorite TS is Coral Reef in Epcot

We have lots, but I think this is all of them:
Chef Mickey's
LeCellier - Epcot
Chefs deFrance - Epcot
Rose and Crown - Epcot
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Brown Derby - MGM

Check out menus there: http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm

For counter service:

Magic Kingdom: Colonial Harbor House, Pinocchio Village Haus. Pecos Bill

Epcot: Boulangerie Patisserie - France, the Sunshine Seasons food court in The Land

Hollywood Studios: There is an area on the left as you walk toward Tower of Terror where there are several counter service restaurants with a common group of pincic tables. Good for a group of people where everyone can find something they are happy with.

Animal Kingdom: Pizzafari; I've not been to Yak and Yeti but it sounds wonderful

Downtown Disney: House of Blues, Wolfgang Puck Express, Earl of Sandwich.

Favorite Must Dos:

Epcot -- LeCellier and Biergarten; favorite counter service is Sunshine Seasons
Magic Kingdom -- Plaza for lunch or dinner, Crystal Palace for breakfast; favorite counter service is definitely Cosmic Rays
Hollywood Studios -- Mama Melrose or Sci Fi; no counter service here -- none of them are any good
Animal Kingdom -- Yak & Yeti; favorite counter service would be Flame Tree Barbecue

Favorite sit down meal at resort: Boma for breakfast at the AKL and Cape May Cafe for breakfast or dinner at the Beach Club

Downtown Disney -- Fulton's (unfortunately, not on the dining plan)

We have eaten at many, many restaurants and we've only had two that we will never return to (Whispering Canyon & Hollywood & Vine). Although we have favorites, there are others we'd go back to again.

Thanks, cause when you look at it on the website it says it isn't with the dining plan.

Actually, it is listed on the Dining Plan Brochure:
‘Ohana’s Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch (B

My favorite place to eat so far has been 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios.

Character meals are also fun.

Hands down my favorite is Boma for dinner. On many trips it is the only ADR I even bother making. After Boma my favorites are:

Tusker House for lunch
The Wave for dinner
Kona for lunch
The sushi bar in the Poly for any meal.

My favorite with two children would be breakfast at Crystal Palace. LeCellier would be my favorite adult meal.

I have 3 boys who are 6,9,12 and our favorites include:

MK-Liberty Tree Tavern (Casey's for CS)
AK-Yak and Yeti (Flame Tree BBQ)
Epcot-Le Cellier (Sunshine Seasons for CS)
Hollywood Studios-Sci Fi Diner (Toy Story Pizza Planet for CS)
Boardwalk-Flyin Fish
Downtown Disney-Earl of Sandwich

Thanks everybody for the great ideas for places. I have a list going now of where I would like to go and we will have to see if any of these places have times that I like.

These are the restaurants we have chosen for this year

Crystal Palace
Jiko
Ohanas
California Grille
1900 Park Fare (breakfast)
