Favorite off-site hotel

We make our yearly journey to Florida every August. Before heading to Disney we usually visit family in Sarasota and then head up to Orlando for a few days prior to checking in at WDW for our Free Dining trips. We use this time to visit Univeral or Sea World or just relax at the hotel pool. We have stayed at the Omni, Westin, Sheraton Vistana, and the Renaissance by Seaworld. We have enjoyed them all. I was wondering if anyone has a favorite hotel that is off Disney and Universal's property that I should stay at on our next trip.
